A couple of Things on Landry

Landry has caught 22 of 30 passes for 232 yards but 156 of those yards are after contact. His average of 7.1 YAC is #13 in the NFL. He is also tied for #8 in blocking by all NFL WR's. He is gonna break one sooner than later, and this week would be a good tie to start.

Only way Hickey gets removed if Jim Harbaugh becomes our head coach. I don't see that happening and i just no there be anther Joe Philbin season. unfortunately

1st: jim harbaugh not coming here.

2nd: any coach worth a crap would LOVE to work with a gm like hickey. gets along with people. strives to be innovative and best of all... KNOWS WHAT TALENT IS!!!

3rd: this business of coaches deciding a gm is bass ackwards. MOST ALL coaches come to a team with a gm in place and STAYING in place. and thats how it should be. coaches should ALWAYS have a boss and that boss is a GM.

hickey not going anywhere. and what would be icing on the cake is ross rewarding hickey with TRUE gm powers giving the green light to hire or fire the head coach.

Only if Harbaugh decides he doesn't want to work with Hickey. There's nothing written in stone that says he'll take that position, and if he's impressed with Hickey's picks, he might feel it's a pairing that will work.

Hickey did a good job in his first year and deserves one or two more years to put his system / players together. Much more confidence in hickey than ireland. We need stability. We've had to many seasons of turnovers in FO and personnel .
