It seems his heart just wasnt in it. He wasnt getting instant success and so he got tired of it, and decided to jump. He hid his interest as best he could for as long as he could, and for no reason. It seems pretty clear that he didnt want to remain Phins coach for awhile now, but he never came out and said it, instead lying to the owner, coaches and staff, players and the fans.

Personally, the only thing he did right was leaving now, instead of hanging on for another month while all the good HC candidates are snapped up. Thank god for that at least. Good riddance, he clearly wasnt what we needed.
 
I wonder what the Alabama fans will have to say in 2-3 years when Saban quits on them and wanders off somewhere else? Hehehe
 
Sounds like old Nick really hated his job here with the Dolphins...
 
wow....it would be extremely nice to verify the guy's story / sources...it sounds pretty damn believeable, especially considering what the result was....but if this guy was so in-the-know....why'd he wait until afterwards to shed any light on any of this? Just playing devil's advocate but anyone that wants to research who/what in alabama could have created a story like this or whatever.....

Boy I hope the rest of the SEC jumps on the tide next season. What a sleazy school. No wonder Nickwit wanted to coach there. He fits right in. I hope the tide goes down hard for years to come.

Heh after 2-3 years of not coming close to a bowl game, Saban will try and bolt somewhere.

Unless nobody else wants him-i mean, who would at this point? Let alone if he tries to run away from Bama.

Dont worry, tr1904 will get his.. When Saban reveals his TRUE self to Alabama in a few years, I guarantee he will do his share of "pissing and moaning"..

NOTE to tr1904: EVERY DAMN THING he said in your press conference today was said at his press conference HERE 2 years ago, almost VERBATIM! Its all a collosal farce!

"I want people to hate playing our team!" HA! How will anyone hate playing a team with a weasel who cant throw a challenge flag correctly? They might "hate" them as they pound him and his crappy program into the ground! Good luck recruiting, lord knows you wont find a SINGLE recruit from the state of Florida anymore!
