This looks like a totally different offense this week.

Of course the Raiders are awful but what I am seeing (as is everyone else) is that Tannehill is throwing some very accurate passes today and the guys are not really dropping anything.

The biggest thing though is the play-calling. It has been quite creative for one thing.

I agree. We are letting Tannehill run, using his athleticism and setting everything up with the run. Its been a great game and great play calling!

I wonder if it's the man coverage. Tannehill seems much better vs man. Or at least that's what my memory seems to recall. Pass protection looks the same to me but he's being decisive and getting rid of the ball and I think it's the man coverage making it easier on him.

Honestly at this point get Tannehill the hell out of the game.

The play calling looks mostly the same to me.

Get as much of the starters out of this game.....

Execution is better this game making the down and distances more manageable. That puts you in a groove getting momentum. Add a defense that is built to play with a lead and here you go.

It's not a mystery. New offenses take time for players to adjust and develop continuity. Plain and simple. Playbooks are limited early on until you get the opportunity to build on them in actual games. Anyone else gt to watch Thursday night's game with Eli? Same situation. I don't expect every game to go as smoothly as today but we'll see more variety in playcalling and better execution of those plays as the season progresses.

when tannehill runs with the ball it changes the way the defense has to defend the run, opens up holes for the passing game to, I've been waiting for him to do this since the Pittsburgh game last year. his run against the steelers changed the momentum of that game. He's huge and athletic lets use his skill set

I think its the pass protection

Could also be that for the first time in his career Tannehill has started throwing the ball away when the play isn't there or also just running with the ball when the chance is there.

Plays were a lot more creative keep oak off balance
