A Direc Tv Question

Be warned if you live in a blackout area.. (Ie)..does you're local TV channels, Fox,CBS usualy cover the Dolphins?? If yes you may be blacked out.. also starting last year whatever game is being showed on the local channels gets blacked out on the Sunday Ticket..that's the only bad part. I have had the Ticket since 1995 and yes this happens to me..I live about 2 and 1/2 hours from Buffalo and when Miami plays there the game gets blacked out everytime.

I am glad I live in the Binghamton area we dont get blackouts for Buffalo or Jets games.

I hope there's a sell -out... we're 230 miles or so north (Orlando)so I guess we'll be blacked out also.......getting really irritated....:fire:

I don't know if this happens to everyone but I did get games blacked out for the first time since I had the Ticket in 1995 last year.The answer was if your local affiliate,CBS,FOX etc... carried any game it would automatically be blacked out..They said they can't charge me for a game that was already being offered by another channel or network...what I say to that is why not..?? I'm paying for it ..It's not like they give me a discount for blacked out games..I love the Ticket but it's starting to get ******ed now..:shakeno:

Set your account up online and you can check it on the left side of the screen when you login under the "programming services" It'll be listed there...

Sort of off topic, but does anyone know what games will be shown in HD this week? I heard that DirecTv was making an effort to have all games available in HD but according to the schedule there aren't any listed in HD.

I'm interested in that as well. I'll check up on that and get an answer if it's available.

Edit: Yeah, they haven't released the HD games schedule yet. Hopefully they do it soon.

Are they blacked out or do you get them on local stations instead?

I've found several times that people don't check the local channels when it says thay are blacked out. I get most of the games here on channel 10, and they don't show it in the 700's in that case.
