How many here believe, and have faith that this year's Dolphins team can make the playoffs, and maybe even win a game?

I'm not sure if I would consider this a religious question. I believe this team has the ability to make the playoffs and heck even win the superbowl. However, I wouldn't bet the house on either of those possibilities (at this point the Jets nor the Jaqs have not been eliminated from the playoffs). I have always felt the success of this year comes down to Tannehill. If he does well, so will the team. So far his play has been inconsistent thus our record is 2-2. If he gets hot and plays to his potential, then we are playoff bound. The only religious consideration is a "Hail Mary" pass before the end of the first half against the Bills instead of running out the clock.

I have no faith the dolphins will make the playoffs. We won two games fairly easily and got our azz handed to us twice. I hope we can make playoffs but 2-2 gives me no faith of anything

I still think we can win the division. The key is that we still have 4 division games to go and there are reasons to think we can go 3-1 in them. This is where Joe Philbin can win me back. He's been 2-4 in the division each of his first two seasons, and that has KILLED us. He flips that to 4-2, I'm back on board with him.

Miami @ New England: We've played very well against them in our last three meetings. It may have seemed absurd even a month ago that we could sweep New England, but it's a possibility.

Buffalo @ Miami: Thursday night game, we're the home team. We've played Buffalo MUCH better at home under Philbin and having Pouncey back should help. I definitely think this is a game we should win.

Jets x2: They're bad. They're reeling. Sweeping a hated division rival is not something we should count on, but the fact is that they are a BAD team and they're on our schedule twice. Find a way.

We have a game coming up in just a couple of weeks against Jacksonville, and Jacksonville ****ing sucks. They are as bad as Oakland. You pencil that game in as a win, because if you lose I guarantee you are looking for a new coach. We'll win that game. We have 3 games against elite QBs coming up, but two of them are at home. Win one of those. Just one. We have Baltimore at home, that should be a close game, get revenge.

I still think we can pull it off.

December 30, 2000 - 14 years since the last playoff win. Let that soak in when you ask if there's faith. I was 23 and I'm 37 now. Seems like a lifetime ago.

As a Deistic spiritualist, I believe there's a grand design and designer and that things are put in place for the opportunity to happen... both positive and negative (like Tyrees miracle backbreaking catch that ruined an arrogant team's chance to go into the record book). However I can't see rhyme or reason in the way we've been floundering for years. So it's hard to believe that the Karmic Natural Order of The Universe is yet making happy adjustments to favor the Fins :idk:.

I have faith in Jesus - Dolphins not so much. Whenever you put your faith in man, be prepared for disappointment.

Ive been burned too many times to fall for having faith that they can make the playoffs and even win a game.

Well the bible describes faith like this - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
That's definitely any fan that has faith we will make playoffs.

Dictionairy definition- 4.Confident or unquestioning belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing

I definitely have no confidence we wil make playoffs nor have a reason to

I have faith that we will be 7-9 or 8-8 for all eternity.

The sad thing since Saban left three national titles for him and 6 losing seasons for us ugh
