A Dolphins Relegious Thread?

How many here believe, and have faith that this year's Dolphins team can make the playoffs, and maybe even win a game?

It has nothing to do with religion. I also don't think Miami makes the playoffs as others have said.....b/c they've burned us too many times.

I grew up as a believer, but I have become more agnostic as I grew older.

My belief in the Fins seems to be running in parallel with my life.

I would like to confess first that I am a atheist, but was raised a Christian. But the analogy of fandom and religion/faith is very apropos and pretty much almost the same for every sport. Your church and place of worship is your home stadium, we all congregate together to cheer/pray/sing praises here, in bars, in our homes. Your undying faith is not knowing when your kingdom will come or in this case a super bowl win but knowing in your heart it will happen one day you just want to live long enough to be there when it happens. Bibles and oracles are seen in the statistical databases and I guess sportswriters and bloggers are to be considered prophets some false some maybe true all preach about the same subject.

That was good SP. Let's not forget the many "Ye Of Little Faith" here on the forum to question the beliefs and faith of others. :)

I'm a mystic. I neither believe nor disbelieve. I'll need to watch and find out for myself what happens.
