Gase could convince Suh, RT, Pouncey to restructure.

They are already rich and if they could somehow by into winning a ring by freeing up some $$$$ they could go down in history not just another player that played and then moves on.

Now I'm not expecting them to play for league minimum and don't know how it could work but it could give Miami some great options going into this offseason.

Tannehill might. If he’s anything, he seems to be a team player. Bet he cried himself to sleep many times this season watching his team eat ****.

Suh? Well....maybe. Doubt he’d take much of a cut. He’s got us over a barrel and damn sure knows it.

Pouncey? He damn well ought to. Everybody wants his ass on a wall. A wall found elsewhere. But I bet he won’t.

Sure just restructure the bad contracts the organization has shelled out. Which means pushing out the money over more years and delaying the pain while hampering future years. A good option for Suh but rather just release Pouncey and eat the dead money. Draft a QB and have tannehill play a prove it season in 2018. If he fails or is reinjured then merely release him.

There's a difference between restructure and taking a pay cut. If they "restructure" it just means we'll move money back even more. At that pace we'll never be done with them. None of them will take a pay cut. Pouncey should just be cut anyway and actually, so should Wake who can't even finish a play anymore

Ozzy rules!!

For the past 2 yrs I’ve kept hearing about Pouncey’s hip issue, but the organization never stated what the issue was.
In the PBP there is an article that confirms avascular necrosis, which is what I suspected.
If so, his career is over. They need to move on

I'm more concerned that RT and his wife will decide that the time for med school is near. Especially coming off knee surgery.

Tannehill most likely. Suh, possibly. Everyone else should be pay cut IF they stay

I guess if I was Tannehill I'd wanna know how much money being a SB champion is worth vs just his contract. That'd be an interesting analysis.

Same for Suh. If he had that SB championship he's a HOFer

Pouncey my thoughts would be restructure to where we'd have some flexibility to walk away if injury flares up again.

Would love it though if Suh and Tsnnehill took one for the team but could understand if they didn't

I recall seeing something that said Pouncey is going to need hip replacement when his career is over. If true seems crazy he can still suit up, no?

Suh is going to restructure. Not a pay cut but just some payroll gymnastics. That will free up some room.

Most people here don't think the Front Office has the ability to select players an build a team right. What makes you think those players think differently? Such thinking is reserved fro teams that are proven consistent winners. Also what makes you think the Superbowl is the most important thing to all players?

Can't we just turn a large portion of Suh's contract into a signing Bonus, that would alleviate some of the problem won't it not?

exactly. let's stop kicking the can down the road. We are strapped cap wise. There is some wiggle room with some cuts that can be made to make an attempt to bring some talent in. But Miami has to learn to get better and younger so when the big salaries aren't guaranteed anymore, Miami can cut the players and have these develop

FACT-Pouncey gets ZERO push in the run game. He still can pass protect pretty darn well but in the run game, we have to compensate for his lack of pop. I say it's time to just move on from the guy and his 2 penalties per game and his big salary. The team played better every time he was out of the line up anyway. Brendel may be a guy that's ready to start, he seemed to look pretty good in limited work. This team needs an all world oline Coach to come in here and get this figured out once and for all.

The FO is going to clean house of all stupid contracts asap. There are many ways to do it. When a guy restructures, the team, (Ross) has to pony up huge upfront money which players are usually happy to snag depending, of course, on the deal. There are about 6 or 7 players that are not playing to the level of their contract. They will be dealt with. Their are a few guys outperforming their contracts but Landry has to get done first.
