A Favorite Fin Game

That jets game in 1994 where Marino used the fake spike. I was in 7th grade and living in NY and loved how Dan made the jets look like such fools that day. Plus it was the nail in the Jets coffin

1985 MNF against the Bears. Umpires stopping the game because of crowd noise. I think could be wrong 12 points was most Chicago had allowed until then

Easy, January 2nd 1982. Although they didn't win the "Epic in Miami" I consider the greatest game of all time.

There were those who said Marino should be traded.

There were those who said he should be cut.

There were those that didn't believe.

And there were the rest of us.

We snuck in to a bar in D.C ( we were in high school at the time) and watched this game surrounded by obnoxious Georgetown pukes who were rooting for the Pats. This is one of my favorites as well.

There is so many, its hard to pick one!! How we miss Dan Marino!!

Great clip...thanks for posting! That sack at the 2:00 minute mark.....I was watching that thinking, if that was Tannehill everyone would be screaming about "he has no pocket presence", he should have just thrown it away.....etc....

1982 Divisional playoffs vs San Diego.

Down 24-0 with 9 minutes left in the 1st half.

Then Strock came in.

24-17 at the half. We got the 2nd half kick, tied it up, and then took the lead.

We lost in overtime, but Miami was simply unbelievable that night.

Greatest game for me. Don Strock is an animal.

Then came Dan Marino.

My God, we used to be great.

The Marino fake spike versus the Jets - I was actually on my knees praying for the comeback. Have never done that before or since.

I used to get physically ill when we lost to the Jets.

I hate the Jets.

I'm a younger fan - I started following the Dolphins in 2004. We haven't been great during the time I've been following the team, but I'll tell you a few I remember:

2015 vs Houston - attended the game, went with a group from FIU. Got completely soaked. Witnessed the best half of Dolphins football I had ever seen. ****ing blast.

2005 vs Buffalo - watched on TV, Sage Rosenfels and Chris Chambers lead an epic 4th quarter comeback, with Chambers catching the game winning TD at the very end of the game.

2004 vs New England - watched on TV, highpoint of a low season, defeating the Patriots on a 4th down TD throw from Feeley to Thompson, giving the Patriots their only blemish on an otherwise successful Super Bowl season.

2008 vs San Francisco - attended the game, Dolphins controlled their destiny in the AFC East race. Boring game score-wise but a win, with Joey Porter sacking Alex Smith or whoever was quarterbacking the 49ers to end the game. Most I've ever seen the stadium full - packed to the walls. Optimism very high back then. Next week they would beat the Jets in New York to win the AFC East.

2008 @ New England - watched on TV, the Wildcat game. Blew the doors off of New England. One of the few times I've ever seen Bill Belichick outcoached. Masterful job by David Lee, and Ronnie Brown for running the offense that day.

2007 vs Baltimore - watched on TV, Greg Camarillo saves the Dolphins from certain infamy by taking a short slant from Cleo Lemon to the house for the game winning TD.

2006 vs Minnesota - attended the game, watched Jason Taylor ruin whoever was quarterbacking the Vikings at the time by having a two sack, two interception, two touchdown game...or something along those lines.

I agree with those above and especially the 1985 Monday night game, But here are a few of my favorites from after the Marino era.

First win of 2005: Miami destroys Denver in home opener. no video.

Last win of 2007: Greg Camarillo game winner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TC6_-GKU6Zk

First win of 2008: Wildcat with Patriots fans walking out in the third quarter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1NMm38th7o

The Greatest thing about the 2007 game was I flew home a day early from the family vacation so i could watch it. the rest of my family thought i was stupid and they were in the air during the game.

This game was a great game. down by 11 with in the last 4 minutes. That was a great finish. i was at a bar in Minnesota and announced to the bar ( with the dolphins down by 11 with 5ish minutes to go) that i would be buying shots after the dolphins won. I spend about $300 in shots that night.

Lamar Smith carrying us against the Colts and Wanny jumping on his back in the locker room post game. 1985 Bears 46 un-penetrable D that Marino ripped apart probably be my favorite.
Ricky's first game against the Jets after we lost like 4 straight to them and Ricky runs off tackle for the game sealing TD(I believe 2002 I was screaming ho ho).
