Saturday night session IMO
-fan turnout was very strong
-practice was very organized and up tempo
-bring binoculars, I didn't have any
-Culpepper showed he is as fit as I have seen him, and showed elite arm strength and excellent down field accuracy, we haven't seen this since Dan the Man.
-Ronnie Brown looked big, strong, and fast, but also a little tentative. Hopefully he just didn't want to hurt our D, plus it is only shorts...
-Sammy Morrris looked way more explosive than I remember.
-KJ Harris looked like a powerful, punishing downhill runner. He may be the reason why Saban seems content with our RB depth.
-Chambers and Cpep are already on the same page.
-M.Booker is a very good #2 wr, he looked great. He caught a beautiful 40 yd missile from Cpep
-K.Campbell dropped a few balls. but did catch a long Cpep pass towards the end of practice
-Hagan didn't do much in team drills, but looked physically gifted, big, fast and quickly in and out of his routes
-Fred Gibson looked huge and fast, but couldn't catch a cold
-Aromashodu dropped a punt in traffic, looked tall but shaky
- Lemon"s arm strentgh was a disappointment but that may be relativity next to Cpep.
-Berlin looked horrible
-During team drills, defense looked pretty menacing, they tipped a Cpep pass and returned it for a TD
-Crowder and Roth both look bigger stronger and more aggressive.
-Carey, Hagnot, DMac all looked huge. Our line needs to come together, they did not look very cohesive. I know it's day 1, I think at worse this line will be above average, but has the potential to be great.
-Bottom line- As dolphin fans we should celebrate having a coach who systematically is improving every aspect of our organization. We also have an elite QB again, it has been so long. Cpep completed 3-4 amazing downfield missiles, the velocity was great and he looked like he was barely throwing it. It was a pleasure to see.
-I wanted to thank all the camp reporters, It is hard to see, some of our members do a super job!

Go FINS!!!

Man he does seems to even hold up on those 40 yarders...barely a wrist twist and its in the endzone, Fiedler would throw his arm fully forward, over extend it and even extend his body and jump, just to make it 40 yds...Its pretty obvious I study QB mechanics...

Nice report, thanks. If all the bottom QBs look so bad, I wonder why Saban let go of Holland who supposedly impressed. Maybe if Brock keeps struggling Saban will cut him and bring back Holland?

Don't be discouraged by the O-line. That is the most difficult part of the team to assess early on. It takes repetition.
I don't subscribe to the notion that there is a lack of talent, only a lack of experience (in the past). This line is huge and has some talent. They could become a real strength on this team.

O-Line

It does take the o-line longer to come together at the begining. Also the D-line always makes the o-line look worse when in shorts. Thats just the way it is. When do they suit up? 2 days in shorts then pads or what?
