I just got back home after attending today's game and have a few thoughts I want to get off my chest.

#1 I think Henne's int's really are forgiveable at this point in his career. I think it's important to remember that he is the first QB we've had since Marino that we are asking to be more than a game manager. He's young and, when the running game isn't working, he's being asked to win games on his own. Sometimes it works out (NE) and sometimes it doesn't (Buffalo and Tennessee).

After seeing him play in person for the first time, I still feel great about his prospects long term, especially when David Lee can help him develop some touch on short to intermediate routes.

#2 Despite the struggles defending the pass (which, in my opinion, can largely be laid at the feet of Gibril Wilson and talented, but inexperienced kid cornerbacks), the defense is extremely stout. The Titans faithful around me were mystified that Chris Johnson couldn't plow us for 150.

#3 I think we are right on schedule and developing into a gutsy, resilient team in the ideal Parcells mode. This is a team that I am really proud to cheer for.

I believe we are goining to be in great shape for years to come..., growing pains growing pains..., we need to draft D down the middle..., and a TE add FA WRS 2...

I think Henne's INT's are more "bad throws" then they are "bad decisions." I'd worry if he was like Cutler and constantly throwing into coverage, but today it was one bad decision and the others were just bad passes. He underthrew Ricky on the wheel route (and Rocky was interfered with) and the OT one he overthrew (and ball maybe was tipped).

Not to mention, that he has piled up yardage and converts drives for TD's, it's not all bad. I think he will be great in a balanced offense when we have a complete running attack again.

When Henne became the starter I decided to ride the middle ground. Not get to High on the good games/plays and get to low on the bad plays/games. There is no question he is doing some good things, but right now repeating the bad things are hurting him. I think our vanilla offensive scheme really hurts him. I also think that if we go into 2010 without serious upgrades in our receiving corps it will really hurt Henne's development!

Although ive got very mad numerous times this year after some losses when I sit back and think about you are right on. This team is building and faster than most. We are a couple of good players away from being a monster. Im at the point now where I don't really expect much more. I know you play to win every game but maybe losing the next would be a better option for us draft wise.

I think this man nailed my performance right on the head. You sir will get a personally signed football by me in the mail tomorrow night.
