I’m not going to say too much but if you were the Dolphins brass would you do this trade?:

Giants get:
Dolphins 1st rd pick (11) in ‘18
Dolphins 1st rd pick in ‘19
Dolphins 2nd rd pick in ‘18
Dolphins 2nd rd pick in ‘20
WR Jarvis Landry (sign and trade)

Dolphins get:
Giants 1st rd pick (2) in ‘18

Doing this puts Miami in position to select the Rosen/Darnold consolation prize. Basically whichever player the Browns don’t take. The team likes both, may favor Rosen at the moment but would welcome either.

It would be gutsy to do but damn, that’s five big time assets to move up nine spots. And where it stands currently, it may not be enough to appease Dave Gettleman.

Craziness, huh?

In the end, I say we don’t do it. Just too many assists to surrender with all the holes we have. Interesting times, my friends!

What would I do? I would cry.

Our team has so many issues, all those missing 1's and 2's wont help fix them!

if we took a QB I would want Mayfield anyway, he wont be there at 11 but I doubt you need to go to 2.

I actually agree. While it’s fun to think about the possibilities of a new QB, you’d REALLY have to be correct about the signal caller. If you’re wrong you pay for years!!

I wouldn't hate it if we somehow draft Rosen, but I'd hate this trade.

Mostly because we'd get a rookie QB, trade his best weapon on the team and then only have a 3rd round pick and about 10 mil to get him a decent offensive line and another weapon.

We'd be setting him up for failure. I'd rather sit on 11, hope Rosen falls and if not, take one of the elite players that drops due to the QB frenzy (4 are going top 10) which should leave you with James, Edmunds, Smith or maybe even Minkah (although I doubt the last one). But someone has to fall...

You're giving up way too much value. I'd give up 11 and Landry and maybe a pick in 2019, but definitely not another 1 if Landry is included.

Would then turn around and offer Odell the Kobe contract in 2019 for the lol.

It’s the minimum it would cost to do it too. That’s the scary part.

If you really want to draft a star QB, it is almost more prudent to plan/set up to tank a season than trade so many assets and move up.

Truthfully, with a draft that has as many decent QB prospects as this one, I'm disappointed we didn't lose more games. With Thill out, it was the perfect season to have done so.

Even crazier: you make the move now. You’re sitting at 2 in the draft and the Browns commit the biggest brain fart ever and pick the RB Barkley at #1. Then what?

If I’m Miami, I take calls for ten minutes knowing I have my pick of two QBs. I don’t want to move down far but maybe the Colts or Browns want to move up a spot or two? Then you get back a couple assets in trade and still get your QB.

Just a possibility to think about.

Can’t wait for this draft.

Can’t wait for it to be over too.

If we made a trade like that I'd say that t-dumb and ireland got together and decided to **** up this team to the point of no return....wtf?

Ozzy rules!!

I wouldn’t make this trade unless both Marino and Manning were sitting there and I was guaranteed to end up with one of them.

I also don’t understand why Landry is considered such a valuable trade asset. Landry at 10 to 12 million a year is a prize. Landry at whatever inflated contract he demands is as appealing as a broken leg.
