If you haven't seen it yet, you should. Just finished watching this documentary. So great to see three Dolphin legends. They're each are such terrific characters with their own view of things. I know it's the modern era and all, but I found it fascinating that Shula wanted to recreate Lombardi's big three and he did it. Being able to throw three different kinds of backs is a handful for any defense, any era. To think that along with the no name defense, we had a team that didn't have it's starting QB, so what does Shula do? He brews a helluva batch of lemonade en route to a perfect season. These three are the best. I mean really men of character. Heck, their coach was Don Shula, a man of impeccable character. Kudos to the NFL network for putting this together.

I saw it awhile ago I think, it was really good if its the same show. I recall Csonka has a great quote about getting paid to drink beer with his miller lite endorsement, wish i could remember it....

Is this the one where they go fishing in Alaska together?

I saw this when it was originally aired.

For those like me old enough to have watched them live...it was incredible. I think its great the younger fans get to see these great characters.....and the team was full of them.

I personally hate and disagree with the notion of this team as "lemonade"...or that they were somehow less talented.

This was an extremely talented team...who with incredible intelligence did not beat themselves....that is why they are the only undefeated champion in history.

Also...the notion that they won a championship without it QB is also false. Yes...the backup did have to carry it through a good chunk of the season, but, lets remember it was a 14 game season then and Griese was hurt in game 6.

Also....Griese returned in the AFC championship in 3 Rivers against that great Steeler team(quirk of the rules then...the undefeated team had to travel to the lesser record team)...many forget this when assessing the greatness of this team.

That great Steeler team had the Dolphins on the ropes at halftime....Griese sparked the comeback and win.

Great show.. The three of them are pretty funny.

Have it DVRd and have watched it plenty. I vividly remember those guys. I was 6 when we beat Washington in SB VII. I still think the SB VIII winning team was better. Csonka and Morris look good, Kiick not so much.

it hurt me thinking about 72 and 73 dolphins because we cant do anything right in Miami now.
