I wonder though of the coaches that are out there interviewing. Which one do you guys really feel in your gut, would be successful in Miami? Is there anyone besides the popular names being mentioned like a darkhorse that you honestly think can pull it off? I have to tell ya my gut feeling is telling me that Jim Bates can actually make it work. It's the same feeling I got in the Drew Brees draft.
If Bates were the coach, hopefully he'll fire Mularkey and keep Capers on. I think that Bates and Capers could create something special on defensive. All they would need is an offensive coordinator that can be creative and design plays that makes good use of the talent of the players available.
