A Fun Topic To Think About!! Read This!!!

Seems like now and days we as fans always have suggestions on how our team can improve. What players to draft, what coaches to hire, what players to trade, etc. Im just curious, How would our team be like if everything we said on finheaven came true. Everytime we suggest an idea, how would our team be like?.......:rolleyes2
 
Well I guess ya have to take it one choice at a time. If I remember correctly there were more people on here wanting Brees than Danute. So from there you can say we would be doing better.

I wonder though of the coaches that are out there interviewing. Which one do you guys really feel in your gut, would be successful in Miami?

Is there anyone besides the popular names being mentioned like a darkhorse that you honestly think can pull it off? I have to tell ya my gut feeling is telling me that Jim Bates can actually make it work. It's the same feeling I got in the Drew Brees draft.

If Bates were the coach, hopefully he'll fire Mularkey and keep Capers on. I think that Bates and Capers could create something special on defensive. All they would need is an offensive coordinator that can be creative and design plays that makes good use of the talent of the players available.

It's really hard to argue against your case because I don't think that's that bad of an idea. However, I still want Cam Cameron to be our next coach. Another poster was talking about how we need a guy with drive and fire and I think that would be the best thing that Bates would bring to us. That picture of him chest butting a player in the New England game in '04 was just priceless.

That's the image that keeps popping into my head and makes me believe he can make it work. I think Cameron is a solid choice and I wouldn't disagree with it. It's just that there's something about Bates I can't shake.

I wouldn't mind if Cameron, Whisenhunt or Mora was the coach here. THose are the three that I'm targeting but you're right, Bates does have a special place in Miami.
