The Miami Herald reports Dolphins CB Sam Madison acknowledged that this might be his final season with the Dolphins, and if that's the way it is, so be it. ''I try to tell guys all the time: This is a business, and you have to understand that,'' said Madison, a nine-year veteran who was the Dolphins' first Pro Bowl cornerback. Although Dolphins HC Nick Saban said Madison has played well this season, he had a rough game Sunday in a 22-0 loss to the Browns. He didn't tackle effectively, missed a potential interception, was called for pass interference and was beaten for a 28-yard reception that set up a field goal. It was part of a rough season in which Madison has fallen out of favor with the coaches and front office, according to two sources.

hmm just got this from another board a member posted.

I wouldn't be suprised if he's gone in the offseason.

What are the salary cap ramifications if Madison goes? I hear he's signed for at least a few more years.

In other word Sam knows there isnt any way he will be back next year.

He isn't gonna be here next season. The guy hasn't had a pick for a long time, and he has never been a sure tackler. He may need a change of scenery to get a few more good years, he could help some team out next season. I wish him well.

If he leaves I'll miss him. Just because he was here forever... I hope he does well, and stays true and avoids joining another AFCE team ala Ty Law...
