Big time Colts fan, and I'll admit your team kicked my team's butt last night. Before you sacrifice Chad, every pass, every run, every wildcat offensive play was a 1st down, moving the sticks and running the clock. Your team failed in the final 3 minutes, my team failed in the other 3 quarters.
But I haven't seen a more passionate, resolute, 110% effort BY BOTH TEAMS as what ours displayed last night.
Reminds me of Colts-Dolphins in the late 90's. Colts would do everything right, then Dan Marino would single-handedly decide the outcome.
Only now it's Peyton.
Beat the Jets, and you'll be in the playoffs. Your team is that good. As much as I want to see a rematch, the game was that good, I'd rather we face Pittsburg. You didn't win, and I don't know why. Next time, I'm not so sure.

It took the sting out of that loss a little bit. Almost every other colt fan out there would be beating their chest and partying. Whomever this is, thanks.

You now feel better because some Colts schmuck complimented the Fins on a hard fought game and how he would rather face Pittsburgh than Miami a second time?

Look bro, all sentiments aside, this is about W's and L's. No random comment from the winning side will ever salve the wound. In fact, it just pisses me off more. It is easy for a winning fan to sit back and compliment the other side, but it is all empty. The fact is Miami is exposed - again - for what it is not.

Yep, sure is, but really, it allows me to better manage my life and not let it ruin my week.

So you can piss all over it if you'd like. Personally, I found it refreshing.

Makes me think of a great idea. In the past few years, Directv Sunday Ticket subscribers were treated to "The Red Zone" channel. This channel in full HD switches to any game that has a team in the red zone and about to score. Pretty sweet deal, I watched it some on Sunday because the Fins were on Monday.

I suggest Sunday Ticket subscribers now also be treated to a new channel called "The Comfort Zone." Losing fans can tune in to this channel and hear immediate feedback from opposing team's fans right as they walk out of the stadium. How sweet would that be?! Not only would my week not be ruined, but my day would not be ruined as well. Ahh, perfect harmony once again - all is right in my world once I hear the compliments about my losing Dolphins.

We could even have this guy be the host of "The Comfort Zone" channel...

"Do I need to be liked? Absolutely not. I like to be liked. I enjoy being liked. I have to be liked. But it's not like this compulsive need to be liked, like my need to be praised."

Yes, because I compulsively search for compliments from other fans. Look at the site that I found that on. Miami Herald's Dolphin news article. Not an Indianapolis news site or forum.

Flawed post.

And you may also mock me for posting it too. But in reality, it just shows how childish you and a subset of this forum can become after a loss.

Nothing flawed at all about it.

This isn't about you but rather about the millions of pseudo fans in the country who after a loss can feel better from lavish praise for their losing team. This is gold, baby - GOLD! Imagine the throngs of people who can now get on with their Sundays - raking leaves, cleaning the garage, hell even assisting with Sunday dinner cooking with the ol' wife who truly appreciates the new mood after losses. Sounds like some sex without the need for perfomance enhancing drugs to me!

The true hardcore fans, well, "The Comfort Zone" won't help much. But there are few of us left anyway. It's all about marketing and feeling better anyway - the instant gratification society.

Bring on "The Comfort Zone." This is gonna be huge.

First, you seem to believe that you are above other fans in terms of "fan-dom". And, I guess these forums help you stroke an ever growing e-p***s of some sort. If that makes you feel better, go right ahead.

Second, if it was totally empty, then what did the original poster of the comment have any justice of doing it to begin with? If we were to stick with your "idea", it would a forced compliment (thus, empty).

You seem to be missing the point.

Maybe "manage my life" was a bit extreme..maybe I should of said "quell my suspicions about this team". Regardless, keep mocking, I hope one day you do grow up.

Oh, and mods, if you feel this is getting off track, go right ahead and do what you need to do. I fear of a troll in the works ><.

:chuckle: I'll have to check this channel out. I've been pissed all day. Sunday Ticket is nice even though it always seems every game is commercialing at the same time

Haha, logged off...anyone else wish to do the same song and dance?

I really do hope he/she comes back, with another witty retort.
