Dyer was a good player. I am suprised he is out of the game. The problem is that he really didn't fit the mold of the modern fullback. He was not a great receiver. Even though, if I remember correctly, he ran the ball a lot successfully before he was in the NFL.

Dyer could knock the snot out of people, but he also whiffed on occassion and far too often blocked the wrong guy. That's why we replaced him and a big part of the reason he's out of the league now.

our offense does utilize a fb, although its more of a HBack. Evans and Martin could fill this role. Kliensasser filled this role very nice in Minn. McMichael and Lee could also see some time here. IMO only one will make it between Evans and Martin. Morris will be the other FB. for as good as a blocker martin is he also has some nice hands.

I was expecting to see a good player being mentioned. We won't use a true FB in our new offense so Dyer wouldn't make the team.

dyer always had the potential to be better than konrad. I dont understand why dyer never was never really given a good opportunity. Wanny basically said dyer was a backup and konrad was the starter before any competition for the spot.

Watch Martin make this team, just because of his blocking ability incase Evans (who I like a lot) gets injured.

Martin is a stud... Evans too... not only is alexander always a consistent top 5 rb in the league, but when they put Morris in there, he scampers for 5+ yards per carry. Greated they've got some meat on the line buy your lead blocker has to count for something.
