A.J's elbow injury

what the injury he had in college? He was pretty good before it, but he never really got a fair shot to play at Oregon. Akili Smith was always solid, but than had a huge Sr. Year. And Joey Harrington was basically committed to Oregon since he was a kid (his dad played there). So Tedford never really let AJ play. The only coaches that have really let AJ use his skills are Andy Reid and Jim Bates.

Feeley can be successful in this league...im getting really tired of people busting on him...He threw 98 passes straight without an int and the streak is gonna continue to this season. People dont realize once bates bacame the coach this team was prepared alot better and we were able to win a couple games

Before AJ injured his elbow at Oregon during the 1999-2000 season, he was completing around 60% of his passes for right at 300 yards per game, 12 TDs, and 1 INT. The elbow injury threw his game off, but he tried to play through it. Mike Belotti probably kept him in there too long. They shut Feeley down and put the sophomore Harrington in. Harrington never relinquished the job.

Feeley showed enough before the injury to convince Andy Reid to take him in the 5th round. Had he never been injured, Feeley would have likely been a 2nd round pick.

Unless Feely just got injured or has some injury affecting his play I don't quite understand why this is a thread

I agree with you 100 percent. I truely think that Feeley can be like 2004 Brees.

I'm with you bro. AJ is not as bad as people like ot make him look. Tom Brady and Payton Manning would have played bad behind our line :D

Brady yes...Manning no...Manning makes his offensive line guard by getting rid of the ball so quickly, manning put up very good numbers behind bad olines his early seasons...

I think that the only Qb that would of done good behind our line last year would be Vick and McNabb.

lmfao...Mcnabb wouldnt of because when people are in his face he makes very very poor decisions...Vick even with enough time cant ever throw an accurate pass, he'd be getting bull rushed 9 out of every 10 plays and He would throw under 50% completion ratio

Even vick would have had a hard time. There wasn't even time to scramble half of the season. Mcnabb is in the same boat but vick would probably have been better IMO.

I was just curious. I knew he was injured in college, I just didnt know the circumstances surrounding his lack of playing time. Thanks, I also think he can be successful, last year was a trainwreck, noone would have looked good under those circumstances.
