A little optimism!

actually i do think moore is alot better than the qb in minny. Bucs will cause themselves alot of problems if they take him, blount is badass, they should stick with him. Browns are taking blackmon, mmccoy needs weapons. They have none.
So, you're saying we must draft BPA but the Bucs would cause themselves a lot of problems if they did that?
Bucs have no weapons and that's why they shouldn't draft BPA? What about us then?

I'm not saying we shouldn't draft Richardson, nor am I saying we must draft him, but if you're saying BPA is the best strategy you can't exclude the Bucs. Just goes to show that you want us to draft Richardson so badly but have no real arguments for it.

Last year they were one of the worst in the league, with ap. so did he run out of gas already? Or is having one elite back not doing much for teams these days?

You should "watch highlights" of the West Coast offense if you think we'd take a RB that high, especially with so many more pressing needs. Decastro is an elite talent too, but theres this thing called value.

Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas make for a pretty frickin sweet combo, if you ask me. Just wait and see what Thomas does this year, you wait.[/QUOTE]

Couldn't agree more.

Is the league the same as when any of them played? Nope. What did Barry ever win? How many rushing champs have won the Super Bowl?
Bush needs to be our Roger Craig.

pretty sure we are talking about the nfl here, i think emmitt set the all time rushing record in the nfl, just saying.

Bottom line is........no rb in this years draft. We are set here.

give it up. Philbin's philosophy is the WCO and that includes not having much value in running backs. He has denvers philosophy of a zone blocking scheme when they had 1000+ yard rushers every year who were no-name 7th round picks and UDFA's. He had no-name guys in the 6th round leading his rushing attack in green bay in their ZBS and WCO .

Philbin does not place value in RB's at all,. in fact I researched him after the hiring and 3 yrs ago he said RB's are one of his least valued positions on the entire field (including all positions on both offense and defense)

not happening. The Dolphins absolutely will not select him if given the chance. This is no longer a power offense defined by 3-yards and a cloud of dust

So forget all about Richardson, he's not even on miami's board. 0% chance. Nada, caput, ZILTCH !

add tannehill in there while your at. This is philbin first time a head coach so u cant really say he even has a philosophy. What was done in green bay was done from above, philbin took orders. Now is when he will create his own philosophy, let it play out and keep in my mind, to run a west coast offense u need accurate precision passer like aaron rodgers/drew brees/peyton manning, if you want to put matt more in there, dissappointment is near.

Dude, give it up, and read the rest of my post

and your E. Smith comparison was just silly. Dallas had the best and most dominating run blocking O-line in NFL history,. Those holes were so wide you could fit 4 mack trucks side by side. That line totally obliterated defensive fronts and most backs could have had massive yardage running behind that monstrous line. Emmitt smith is one of the most overrated players in league history

lmao, emmitt smith overrated"? now i heard it all!!!!! the all-time rushing leader, overrated !!!! o-line o-line, the #1 way to degrade emmitts smith career, gotta love it. He will change his mind quite quick when he sees some footage of trent richardson destroying the lsu top ranked defense this year.

dude no offense but you're totally clueless if you don't think that Dallas O-line was one of the best of alltime. In fact that's common knowledge in alltime rankings. That line plowed through defensive fronts like a hot knife through butter every week. Opening holes a mile wide.

Nate Newton, Erik Williams, Mark Stepnoski, Mark Tuinei, Larry Allen.

Full of Multi All-Pro's and every year Pro Bowlers. Are you f'in kidding dude. Even Dallas fans continually mention how Smith was overrated playing behind that dominating line.

Get with the program

and the Dolphins will not select Richardson for the reasons i stated. Get that out of your head quick. You're just making yourself look bad now

i think alot of people underestimate Daniel Thomas, as well as Reggie Bush.

It's hard to underestimate a running back that had
ZERO tds in 13 games or rushed for 3.5 yards per carry
when Bush averaged 5 yards per carry with the same offensive line

Or a player who farts and blows out his hamstring
same problems going back to the senior bowl

What we have with Thomas is another Ronnie Brown
often injured but without Browns talent
