Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports early indication is the battle for two starting safety jobs for the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins will be fierce, among S Travares Tillman (who is still getting starter's repetitions), rookie S Jason Allen (whose range on deep balls drew praise from LB Zach Thomas), S Yeremiah Bell and S Renaldo Hill.

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins WR Chris Chambers recently discussed Dolphins rookie QB/WR Marcus Vick. ''He's looked raw because he hasn't played that position (much),'' Chambers conceded. ''But he can be that versatile player we can use maybe in the next few years.'' Vick's ability to even land a roster spot remains in question.

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins are intrigued by Virginia LB Ahmad Brooks. He is expected to be available in the July 13 supplemental draft. He missed six games in 2005 with knee, ankle and back problems. He must improve his conditioning.

Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports LB <A href="http://www.kffl.com/player/15019/nfl">Jason Berryman (Iowa State) is expected to be available in the NFL supplemental draft to be held July 13. Berryman, who could play defensive end or linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, had 7 ½ sacks last season but was thrown off the team in January for allegedly frequenting a bar while under legal age. He had promised Iowa State he would behave after spending eight months in jail for robbing one student of a cellphone and stealing $4 from another in 2004.
