A long hard thought on Manning to Denver

I am having a very hard time seeing him go to Denver. Why would Mr Classy want to throw himself into an ugly QB controversy? The second he throws his first pic the fans will be chanting for Timmy boy. I don't know I just can't rationalize why he would do that to himself when he can go somewhere else and be welcomed with open arms...
 
Tebow is gone if Peyton is a Bronco, simple as that. It would be the most two-faced thing I've seen in the NFL since Nick Saban betrayed us. Tebow made the Broncos relevant and got them a division title, and a playoff victory. Elway and John Fox repeatedly said that he's their quarterback, and now they're gonna bag him like nothing.

I know Tebow isn't that kind of guy, but I would be livid and demand a trade.

this & kolb should demand a trade too.
 
I share those same thoughts. I believe Arizona WOULD be a much better fit, however their cap issues might be a dealbreaker for them. Getting rid of Levi and other contracts will obviously get them enough cap space to sign Manning, but then what? They are going to create holes when they try to free up cap space, and I don't think they'll be able to fill out the rest of their roster adequately(especially their oline).

I just don't see Denver or Arizona being a decent fit..
 
I just can't see wanting to go to a city who just betrayed their "savior" its asking for trouble.. I just can't see it..
 
Living here in Colorado, I am wondering the same thing. Tebowmania here in Colorado has been crazy. The Broncos sank (or stank) back down to earth towards the end of the season and probably had no business even making the playoffs, but you get the feeling in Denver that most of the fans there want to give Tebow time to develop as a passer, and they view Manning as a great QB, but they also feel he only has 2-3 years left in him so why make the change?

Peyton would just put a lot of added pressure on himself if he goes to Denver. If they trade Tebow away and don't win it is going to get really ugly for Manning. If Manning comes to Miami and still doesn't win, Manning won't get the blame like he would in Denver. I think most Miami fans would just like to have a great QB leading the team, and make Miami football watchable again....Manning can be the Savior in Miami.
 
I will lose all my respect to Manning to ruin Tebow like that. Very disrespectful move. He is the Heart of Denver. So not cool. Go to a team that needs a QB..
 
If Manning doesn't sign with Miami then I truly hope he signs with Denver causing major turmoil among fans and teammates. Manning would then certainly have chosen money over another SB opportunity. It would be choas here when they traded away Tebow. Do you have any idea how many jerseys I see of that overrated FB? LOL
 
Yea, it's just hard to imagine Peyton manning being a home wrecker like that. Going to a team that already has a qb (no matter how talented you think he may be). You would think manning would go to a team that needs a qb but at the same time has a talented roster
 
Granted Tebow didn't play all that well. He showed signs of wha he could do if he was give
te right coaching. So the do the Broncos bring someone in too help? Nope. Does Elway try to help? No.
Instead they decide to possibly sacrifice a great future by bringin in a 36 year old QB coming off major surgery. They undermine the guy that put them on the national stage, won a payoff game, and made them relevant. All the while he strives this offseason o ge better. And you want to reappace grimo
 
im starting to lose interest in Manning. Dont think he fits Philbin.

Well that was certainly a long and deep thought...
 
If Manning chooses Denver, in my mind, it'll be because of the division. He'll see an easier chance to get to the playoffs. If he decides against Miami, it'll be because he's scared of having to face Brady twice. Just my opinion.
 
I was thinking the same thing. Manning is scared to face Brady cause he seems to lose that one a lot. Let him go to a place with no O-line and Not good WR,s. Good Luck
