some of these guys might make the team. what do you all think?

I, like everybody, am excited about Jayson Foster and Davone Bess. I just don't see how the team could have room for both of them, maybe not even one of them.

I also wonder how much of a diminished special teams role Teddy Ginn will have. I honestly dont want to see Ginn as "only" a WR by his second season.

i just want po***** to make the team so i could hear rose and mandich scream out his name when he flies down the field on special teams and whack someone lol

Being there are only two noted defensive backs coming in one would have to guess there are more defensive backs coming in for tryouts. One of two noted is actually a tryout guy.

I think Bess, Foster, Pops, will almost certainly make it. And maybe Lemon make it.

My guess is that we look for DB's off the scrap heap from other teams' cuts, probably 1 for a nickle back and 1 or 2 for development on the roster and on the practice squad. There are a LOT of quality CB prospects in this draft, but unfortunately almost all of them went in rounds 1-4. If any of those get cut and are medically cleared, we'll probably pick them up.

Nice post!! every time I read about Pop***** I can't stop laughing. It would be funny to see him playing and hear the commentators say his name every time he makes a play.

I wouldn't expect anything from Kory Robertson.. He never started at VT until his senior season and was a career backup there.. And the first game he started was against a bottom feeder team as it was just a reward for his hard work, not because he is any good.. He's a Rudy kind of guy

http://www.dailypress2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13370

He's just a body to bring in for the O-linemen to bang on.

I think it will be way toomuch for Robertson to make team. Dotson and Starks do not bode well for him. Maybe if Solai gets cut or traded he has a chance but it looks pretty bleak.
