After witnessing the (all too familiar) Jekyll & Hyde performances of this Dolphins squad, how do you think the rest of the season will shake out?

CHIEFS - W
@Raiders (London) - W
BYE
PACKERS - L
@Bears - L
@Jaguars - W
CHARGERS - W
@Lions - L
BILLS - L
@Broncos - L
@Jets - W
RAVENS - W
@Patriots - L
VIKINGS - W
JETS - L

I think we will end up 7-9 or 8-8, just as I predicted before the season. 3-1 start, and then a losing stretch as the elite teams come up on the schedule. Eerily similar to previous Philbin seasons.

Had them going 8-8 but losing their first 2 so as of right now they are 1 game ahead of my prediction going 9-7

I had Miami losing the first 2 games this year and winning the KC/OAK games to be 3-1 at the bye. This was under the assumption that injuries were minor so with Moreno and Shelley Smith out a few weeks and the offense not doing well, I still think my prediction of 7-9 overall is OK. Here's what I think based on the last 2 weeks:

I'm not prepared to call that Charger game a "W", even if they're traveling across the country. They just beat a really good Seahawks team. That counts for something in my book.

I struggled with that one myself, but we tend to play them well when they travel to Miami. The Chargers are similar to the Dolphins in the sense that they can win big games, but then put together a stinker.

That would be so Dolphins to break a 6 game losing streak to win the last two games to get worse draft position and miss the playoffs by a game or two.

Ugh you have us getting swept by the Bills again? I might just kill somebody if that happens. I'm so ****ing tired of losing to the Bills and having to hear from EVERYBODY about how I shouldn't feel bad because the Bills are actually pretty good this year... Yeah. They're so great but somehow they always manage to finish 6-10. Funny how that works.

I honestly have us right around 8-8. We may be 7-9 and we may be 9-7 but I don't think it makes a difference because I doubt 9-7 will get us a playoff berth this year anyway. Mediocrity and fire sales are really tiring but it looks like more of those are coming... F M L.

I just don't see us beating the Bills this year. They pose a serious matchup problem for the Dolphins and Philbin/Tannehill haven't shown anything to suggest that the trend will be reversed. They've lost to the Bills 3 straight times in eerily similar fashion.

I hate to do game by game like this, because I can usually get the record close but the games all wrong, so here goes:

CHIEFS - W
@Raiders (London) - W
BYE
PACKERS - W
@Bears - L
@Jaguars - W

There are two games that I think we will win that you have penciled in as losses:

First, I think we will come back and play better against the Bills in our next meeting. It's true that they've been strong against us under Philbin, but we've been much better against them at home. I think it will be difficult for them to sweep us two years in a row.

Second, I believe we can beat the Packers. I think their defense is soft and we can score points on them, and I think we match up well against them on defense (i.e. they are built to throw it to their WRs).

I really feel like this week we will get a more accurate gauge of where the Dolphins are at right now. We are not as good as we showed against the Patriots, but likewise we are NOT nearly as bad as we showed against the Bills.

Thursday night might give us a boost against the Bills. Home teams seem to fare well in those games. I wanted to attend one game this season so I bought a low upper deck ticket to that game for 33 bucks. No worries about the sun in my face. I deal with enough of that on the golf course.

I was worried about 0-2 given the scheduling so 1-1 is a head start.

Maybe we catch a break with a determined Chiefs team that is missing enough key components to partially negate their intensity level. BTW, the first 65,000 fans at that game receive some type of handout. I don't remember what it is but I heard it on the radio. I hope all those fans above the 65,000 don't throw a tantrum that makes headlines and videos.

CHIEFS - W - They are a severely weakened team on Defense and OLine. Add in J. Charles gimpy and that's enough.
@Raiders (London) - W - They are simply terrible. On both sides of the ball
BYE - Can't afford to lose this one.
PACKERS - L - Even though it's at home, I'm terrified of Lacy and Rodgers. Their D is awful, but I think we get out gunned.
@Bears - W - They are very beatable, and are extremely dinged up on D. We steal one here and surprise everyone at 4-2
@Jaguars - W - See Oakland.
CHARGERS - W - We have been fortunate enough to get them at home the past 3 meetings, we always match up very well against this team.
@Lions - L - I think we are a better team than Car, who just handled them. But Bush will have a big day, along with Tate or Megatron.
BILLS - W - I think we rebound and take this one, avoiding 0-4 against them.
@Broncos - L - Too hi-powered and at their house. Not optimistic, but man it would be sweet.
@Jets - L - They snag it in their house.
RAVENS - W - Just not a fan of Flacco or this team, we shoulda beat em last season and their in our house again.
@Patriots - L - Belicheat never gets swept in the division
VIKINGS - W - Their D is bad, very bad
JETS - W - We take it at home to end the season.

10-6 and the playoffs. Takes off homer glasses** God I hope this happens.

I don't see us beating the Bears in Chicago with a VERY motivated B Marshall looking to show up his old team...

How can anyone watch what we did yesterday and declare any game a lock?
