A lot of you guys got it all wrong (final depth chart)

I hear you and respect your opinion but let's see what team you just mentioned.. The Arizona cardinals, a team that got robbed in the kolb trade and has been a disaster ever since Warner has retired. They've failed in the draft and FA. I wouldn't look at that team and think, oh so that's how the nfl works.

And as for Livas, I don't understand all the love for the guy, he's a poor mans dexter mccluster who was highly scouted pre draft and he's a work in progress but is essentially too small to ever make an impact. Livas has had one impressive PR and done nothing since. I'd take Wallace and his gunner skills over Livas who would essentially hold a spot for just one duty. Not to mention how much this FO loves versatility.

But that IS how the NFL works, and they are a good example of it.

Dexter McCluster absolutely made an impact last year for the Chiefs and they have plans for him to continue making an impact. I don't see him as the example to use of how Livas won't have an impact, because if he becomes another Dexter McCluster the Dolphins will be very happy.

As I said above, if the Dolphins had a feeling they were going to cut Livas they wouldn't have given him 100% of the kick and punt returns in Weeks 3 and 4. They would have needed those reps to prep whoever would be doing the duties during the season. You don't see what the fuss is about with Livas, well I personally do see what the fuss is about so we disagree on that. I listed the unique combination of qualities he possesses. I don't think he'll only fill one duty during the year, either. I think he'll be on punt returns, kick returns, and on offense as a slot receiver.

A team like the Cardinals cannot afford to keep FIVE TEs, especially when they need a lot of help on defense. And lets not even talk about the talent that those TEs bring (or lack thereof). None of those 5 TEs scare anyone...
As for Livas, lets not ignore the new kickoff rules so at least 50% of his returns will end up as touchbacks (dont let the preseason fool you.. teams WILL kick deep into the endzone as much as possible). Aside one from his one insanely nice return (much credit to him), he has done pretty much nothing, finishing the preseason with one catch i think? and pretty much average to below average return yards.
And finally as for McCluster, for a team with not much receiving star power outside of Bowe last year (Moeaki is a threat), McCluster finished with a pedestrian 21 catches for 209 yards,a TD, and a fumble.. Meh, I'd rather have a slot receiver who runs good routes and can catch across the middle. Stash Livas on the practice squad. Dont want the Fins wasting a roster spot on a player that will be used as a luxury, if even that, when we need all the help we can get in other spots (OL for instance)
