What this man has done for the Miami Dolphins the past 3 years has been incredible, and doesn't get talked about enough. The quick highlights include, tied 1st for most catches in first 3 years in the NFL: 288, most receptions in franchise history: 110, 2nd most receptions in franchise history: 94.

What is most impressive to me is his constant improvement. Last year the only weak spot in hist record setting year was lack of big plays. Well this year he lead the team in 20+ yard plays with 16, and improved his ypc from 10.5 to 12.1. That is really impressive from the slot, as his role didn't change, and he didn't get more or any any deep balls thrown his way. He did all from short passes, and just making the most of yac. He has 593 yac this season. To put that in prospective it is 200 yards more than Parker and Stills combined. I can't wait t to see what he adds in year 4.

Hopefully with Miami making the playoffs it lead to Jarvis getting the national recognition he deserves.

I still want the offense to focus less on Landry and more on Parker. Hopefully Parker fulfills his potential next year.

He is by far the heart and soul of this team. As he ticks this team ticks it seems to be. Hope Miami just extends him after this year and his contract isn't an issue going forward

There isn't a more important contract to do. Getting it done this year will save us money, and spare us from using a franchise tag on him as we may need it for Jones. It would be great if we could lock up Stills and Jarvis this off season, and have a minimum of two more seasons with Parker, Ajayai, Stills, and Landry. We haven't scratched the surface of what these guys can do in this offense.

Worried about the contract, his intangibles are the kind of things you can't put a price on. But you don't want to be cheap with him. It's an odd situation. He's a slot receiver who probably will want #1 money.

My favorite current Miami Dolphin player. Love his passion, energy and heart. He does need to tone it down after the play and be smarter about using his energy the right way.

IMO he deserves every penny he can get. Players like Jarvis don't come along often, and when they do they're usually not on the Dolphins roster.

I agree he deserves it, but no one player should handicap a team. Still have Stills to pay along with a slew of other guys to resign.

Parker isnt as polished of a route runner and its part of the reason why Parker is less involved.

Trade him to the Browns for a 2nd rounder!

He isn't as slot WR. He is Hines Ward. A #1 WR who isn't your typical #1 WR.

BINGO.
All too often people judge players by their pre conceived opinions on a player when they came out of college or they focus too much on prototype measurables. Landry has an alpha personality and relishes competition. That is a #1.
Parker has the measurables and prototype of a #1, but he doesn't have the heart or competitiveness to be a #1 (at least not yet)
