If there is such a thing. No way I thought our Dolphins could possibly take the Seahawks to the final minutes after travelling across the country to play a perennial powerhouse in one of the noisiest stadiums in the NFL. I saw emotion from our players and coaching staff. I saw better pursuit and tackling. We're just getting started and I believe the Dolphins will improve and make some noise of their own as the season progresses.

It was by far the absolute loudest stadium in ever been in, it was incredible. I had to shout just to talk to my buddy or my son just a seat away and I was front row at end zone. That noise is intimidating and I'm impressed with how they dealt with that noise. I sure hope our stadium can be loud like that!

I certainly don't enjoy losses, but they played well, played great defensively, the Seahawks got away from a bunch of penalties, hometown calls for sure, is what it is, we left 10 points out on the field, it was such a dominant defense performance, it was great to see, lets hope we see this defense a season.

Cameron sucks in person, I don't understand running up the gut 15 times it seemed for about 10 yards, seemed like wasted plays, don't give me the keeps them honest crap, call plays to all parts of the field.

First loss in many years that I was not pissed. They played way better than I thought they would play. I am encouraged and look forward to improving even more.
This team has a different feel. Can't put my finger on exactly what has changed, but something has!

The last 10 minutes or so just watching the TV I'm not sure I've been that worked up watching a game before. A win would have been so sweet. Should have won that game!!! Arrrggghhhh....

Agree, that was fun.

I was still pissed but agree with you on the rest. A loss still friggin hurts.

Adam Gase's commitment to having a balanced offense even when we were behind in the 2nd half was one of the things I liked the most about the game.

I strongly criticized Joe Philbin for years for completely abandoning the run game even when in tie games or when we were leading. If you decide to abandon the run game completely, the other team will pick up on that and cheat accordingly. You don't need to be a run heavy "3 yards and a cloud of dust" team, but you do need to demonstrate that you are willing to have your big boys push people around. It helps the passing game and it's good for the team's mindset.

Its genuine, legitimate passion IMO... not the queasy stoicism of Joe or the meatball's theatrics.

After the blocked FG, Gase was pi$$ed. After Ryan's TD run, Misi & Gase were both thrilled.

They're more physical. I think that's what it is. We are trying to become a more physical football team. For years people on this site said that Joe Philbin's team was soft. I would say that Joe Philbin's team was trying to be 'finesse.'

I don't think this is going to be a crew of smash mouth bruisers any time soon, but a friend of mine (Falcons fan) who watched the game commented on the fact that we were actually taking it to the Seahawks pretty well. "Wilson and Michael are going to be hurting tomorrow." Well, yeah.

I think that's what you noticed.

totally agree, i was heartbroken because i know we should have won...but i didn't really give us much of a chance. there are definitely things to work on that will get better with time (play calling, game management, etc), but I was blown away by our defense. DL was stellar (hope Mario Williams plays next week), LBs especially Kiko made solid tackles are played the ball well, Howard did good in his first game at CB, IAQ looked great paired next to Reshad. if we can win 2 of the next three we will be in good shape.

There were some good things done by our team but the main thing was they still found ways to give away the game. We should have won the game but our team needs to learn how to seal the deal. Our defense couldn't close out either half. Our offense left 13 points on the field and our ST's didn't help either, Our D-line played well but are they that good or is the oline of seattle that bad?. When it matter the most we had no pass rush as we've seen this before NE found a way to win a close game and us and the jets and the bills found a way to lose a close game.

Ozzy rules!!

I'm actually more pissed than I would've been had they gotten killed. Don't toy with our emotions. Either win or lose big man. None of this going up 4 with 4 minutes to play to giving up a 75 yard game-winning drive.

Your last sentence sums it up. NE and their stand in backup qb rallied for a win on the road against a NFC West contender.

good point. But do you think he would have stayed with it if we trailed by 7 and not 3? Am just curious?

I didn't enjoy the loss because we've seen this before. I also felt like this game was there for the taking. Wilson hurt after the half and stationary in the pocket, a crap Seattle o line, and no running back. Not to mention the injuries Seattle had. I guess I'm in the minority but I thought we should've taken that game. The team looked disciplined but I can't be happy with a loss
