Wow this kinda gets me excited...I went to that game last year vs KC which was -17 degrees! by the way the beer turned into a slurpee before you could finish....anyways this kid is a competitor and he was running all over us and making some tough throws in some nasty weather...anyways this could get interesting with the wildcat. I firmly believe there will be a serious QB competition by the way. Say what you want about thigpen but he had more TDS than big ben matt ryan and flacco when thigpen started those 14 games that year!!! Not bad

I thought about it too, he is scrappy, i say let him start RIGHT NOW ! we might be able to salvage some of the season. i feel better with him back there than henne.
 
This kid is the real deal...he will be Miami's starter by the end of the season and compete for the legit starting job next year.

I am very excited about getting Thigpen! I thought he did great last year and wouldn't be surprised to see him starting in a few weeks.
 
This is going to sound like I'm way ahead of myself, but stylistically, he reminds me of a cross between Romo and Big Ben - but faster. Love him as an athlete and wanted him last season. Also, he makes big plays, and I think that will rub off on Henne.

Henne will likely close the year as the starter, but Thigpen should see some time out of the spread/WC, and unless Henne comes out playing like M. Ryan, Thigpen will push him next season.
 
i read thigpen was an all-state running back throughout high school. he only began playing quarterback for that little college as they started their football program.
 
Let Henne start the next two games, then give Thigpen and Henne a chance to compete for the starting job during the bye week. Gotta give Thigpen some time to learn the playbook.
 
i'M NOT SAYING ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THE GUY......BUT IF HE IS SO GOOD, WHY IS CASSEL AND CROYLE STARTING OVER HIM?
 
Considering what he had to work with, I thought he had a much more impressive first season as a starter than Ryan or Flacco. I don't know why they don't want him, but I thought they made a mistake making a move for Cassel and paying him big money. And, while he had one more year in the NFL, he has far less experience as a QB. I think his upside is enormous, and he's already proven that he can be a productive starter.

The KC D gave away a lot of games last season.

Yeah I dont understand it at all. It makes no sense this kid in his rookie season had more TDs than SB champ ben r, ryan, and flacco. Its going to get interesting.
