I think so. Looking at the schedule, we need to figure out a way to get to 4-4 at the midway point. This would enable us to look at a shot at 5-3 or 6-2 in the second half(where the schedule is ripe for the picking mind you) and a possible playoff birth. A loss today will pretty much sink us.

The next 3 games are all tougher, and I know for sure I dont want to face another 0-4 or 0-5 start. I cant tolerate being more or less eliminated so early of any playoff hope, no matter how slim those chances may be as we stand today. When that happens, we are more or less playing preseason games.....which blows completely.

I just cant tolerate it again. We MUST WIN today. If we dont, I expect it to get real ugly around this place too. I know I will be HEATED!!!

I believe it's very important. The Cards are historicly the NFL's most irrelevant franchise, and, this is a need to win for sure.

The players say its a must win and i agree, we have to win if we want to believe that we have a shot at the playoffs.

I dont think we will win, because we've been so accustomed to losing, it would be a shock to see our team respond in such a difficult situation, The cardinals have a lot of pressure on them to beat us, if they lose against us there will be chaos running thru that organization and the coach will automatically go on the hotseat, they have a chance to go 2 and 0 against the worst team in the NFL at home, they will be up for the game.

Thats why i feel it will be a ground breaking win if we get it, if we get it then we can really believe that this team is a different team, we will have turned a major corner in just our 2nd week in the Parcells regime........I cant really conceptualise us winning, i would be in shock if we do...

True, however we dont want to put ourselves in that hole and be forced to win those.

Basically, like I said....check out the schedule. If we can figure out a way to get to 4-4 and make it out of the woods early, we will have a legit shot to win 5 or 6 of the last 8. Basically, we need to get to 9-6 going into the last game vs. the Jets, where it could be winner take all.

Thats why Ronnie costing us the game last week was so huge. Divisional game at home, losing that youre already behind the 8ball.

I think you know I'm not a RB fanboy.....But there was alot more wrong than RB in that game.

If we have playoff dreams, then YES this is a must win. If we are only concerned with improving, then no, this is not necessarily a must win. But that is a double edge sword, because the Cards are a team that is beatable . . . so if we lose, we either got in a shoot out and that would mean the D was blah . . . or we couldn't score, meaning the offense was blah . . . so YES to see improvement . . . this is a MUST WIN.

Go Fins

Although the playoffs are not really on our radar this year . . . 85% of teams that go 0 - 2 do not make the playoffs; therefore, must win!!

U really can't think a blown timeout cost us the game . . . u found a way to blame Jason Allen on the Favre prayer . . now Ronnie cost us the game . . . maybe Beck will get some kind of 15 yard sideline penalty and join the party this week.

Im looking to see improved play this week. A win would be fantastic but I want to see if this team is going to grow each week that is what is important.

it just feels like the team has worked hard in the off season and pre-season, there are so many new players, and they need a win to keep moral up and have guys keep the motivation going. the worse thing that can happen is dropping this one today and then having to go to New England 0-2.

lets go, the season has started, they need to play well and get a win and get the ball rolling. its a long season, but you can't dig a hole right off the bat and be looking up at everyone. is the season lost if they lose today, no, but it gets that much harder every week you don't win. look at what happened last year, this thing can snowball and get away from you quickly.

 Seriously, I cant say for sure that the blown TO cost us the game. However, you would have to agree that if we had that TO on that last drive, you couldve certainly envisioned another 8-12 yard completion followed by a TO that set us up with a 1st and goal followed by 4 much better shots at the game winning TD, or even an 8 yard completion on first down sets up with 3 shots from around the 9. Not far fetched to think Pennington gets that done.

Yea, I was highly pissed at Ronnie for that, still am, and you have to admit its just completely inexcusable for a 3 year vet to not know whats going on. How many times have you seen Pennington really laying into a guy on the field for a mistake like that.

I have to keep bringing it up due to the way Ronnie gets treated like a god on this board when he is very far from it at this point. No one else is going to point out how crucial that was and that play alone made him as big a detriment to our chances of winning as any player we had last week.
