So fans expected a change at left guard.

Except that the first two day of mandatory minicamp -- a full six months, a draft and free agency period after the end of last season -- Dallas Thomas has remained the Dolphins starting left guard.

So where's the change fans seem to so desperately crave?

Dallas Thomas would tell you it is in Dallas Thomas.

Thomas says he's bigger, stronger, better now. He even says he has a different attitude now.

From one of his biggest critics last year - will see when pads come on

Armando will proabably be the first one to say - they need to make a change. Hope springs eternal when the real bullets aren't flying.

I would hope he's continuing to work on improving, being one of the worst, if not THE worst, G in the league. But I'm definitely not confident he will be in a starting position by the start of preseason, much less the season.

There is an old Monkees song "I'm a believer" ... don't play it .... Dallas Thomas, you are NOT worthy.

Why doesn't the media QA their work anymore? It drives me nuts. What the **** is a "quarterbacy"???

sacks of quarterbacy Ryan Tannehill

..... this really grinds my gears

Dude will never be better. I'd like to eat those words but he's just such a subpar player

I'd rather see him succeed than fail miserably. If he turns into a reliable starter, then great. If he's not up to snuff, then get the best man in there.

Im hoping Gase can convince the FO to move on. Apparently even Philbin went to the FO and asked for an upgrade, so maybe there is some hope. If this bites them again its on you Mike.

There is absolutely no hope for Dallas Thomas... the same way there is no hope for Daniel Thomas.

He regularly missed assignments and allowed a defender an almost free run at the QB. Never learned the OG 101 of planting his feet to stop the bull rush. After years of experience, he's awful at two of the most basic parts of OG play. I'm hoping when people say he's better, they mean "not quite as awful." I'm hoping he's starting OG to give other OLmen a chance to show versatility.

If Gase sticks with Thomas he just has to be putting something on tape we're missing. Doesn't he???
