...this late in the year!!! remembering back to some of our recent solid seasons, they were such underachievers(i know, nothing you guys havent heard before). i am just flabbergasted at how quickly this team has taken on the personality of its coach.

in the direction we're headed, i believe i will finally see my phins win the SB one day under this regime.

Yah I'm so excited I think it's going to be the longest off-season ever,

Thank God I got the olympics for Hockey, and hockey playoffs, being a season ticket holder and all of the Flames. Plus the world cup of soccer this summer. It will kill some time till next September.

agree last year i was just so mad everyday and if i ever saw Wands*ck i wanted to kill him for running our team into the ground like he did and saban just made me super excited for a very long time it looks like we well be contending and i have the dream again of seeing a dolphins super bowl win in my lifetime

This year is shaping up to be just like 1989.

That season, the team turned it around and got to 8-8 following a horrendous 6-10 campaign in 1988. The next year the team goes to 12-4 and the playoffs (following four years of not making the playoffs).

Lets hope this team follows suit next year since it has also been four years since this team last made the playoffs.

I suspect there is a tad more clean up still to be done.

Examples:

QB

Gus? He is very streaky and doesn't seem to have the ability to change the momentum of game.

Sage - I must admit to being interested in seeing if the kid really has was it takes. Otherwise I love him as a #2.

Secondary

We need help at both safety positions and at least one CB.

Bell - Like the speed, however can he be consistent?
Schulters - Solid in zone, horrible in man
Jones - Future waiver wire transaction

LB's

We need at least 2 new LBs perhaps 3.

OL

We need ORT and a Center

To be continued.....

Nick still gonna bring a few more players but I'm just as happy as everyone about our team...we have not one but 2 RB's we can win with...a defence that has a great mix of young players and vets and money under the cap...Nick should have another great draft...is gonna be hard waiting for next season to start...good thing I'll have the world cup in the summer(Go Italy)and I can't wait for free agency and then the draft.

Ozzy rules!! :guitar:

I was thinking about this earlier, are you more excited now than you were in JJ's first year? He had a really good first draft and if I remember he won about half his games. Let's hope Saban doesn't have any Y. Green or J. Avery drafts...
