A Perfect Complementary Piece Is Out There...Gulp

We just debated this in a different thread so why create yet another thread on the same topic. We all remember getting hammered day in and day out with OJ Atogwe threads and it was beyond ridiculous. Please, don't create a steady onslaught of threads about Tebow who is not a Miami Dolphin nor is there any suggestion he will be.

1.) He has done enough self-promoting to make Ochocinco sick to his stomach. If you don't want attention then don't run for every T.V. camera you see, do ESPN specials, and do 1,000,000 commercials
2.) Are the Bulls supposed to be rivals to the Gators or something?

Are you serious? Self-promoting? He's not a self promoter, he's just a good kid who does everything right. You're clearly biased as all hell... and I say this as an FSU fan (and alumnus). Most people that hate him are bitter, sad, jealous human beings.

He doesn't do many commercials, and he did more charity work (especially for the make-a-wish foundation) than any other college player ever. Yeah what a blowhard, helping all those sick dying kids. How dare ESPN want to showcase a kid doing things RIGHT.

Seriously, look in the mirror, and ask yourself why you do mental gymnastics to attack a guy who is genuinely nice and talented. Would you rather more dog killers like Mike Vick?

Take me Jesus!! Tebow might bring us "Luck" in the draft, that's about it.

P.S. Denver recently paid Tboner $6+ million, he ain't going no where.
Too Bad, So Sad for all the ambulance chasers (Bloggers trying to scoop NFL bodies as they fall ... & often before they even look sick!! lol)

Tim Tebow doesnt work as "complimentary piece".

You either go all in on the kid, or you enjoy the circus thats going on in denver. And I'm not going all in on him....

If hes got a phins uniform on, Tebowmania and the Tebowmaniacs wouldnt sit there idly while he comes in for a package here or there.. just wont cut it for them. Is he a weapon? No Doubt. Is he an NFL quarterback?.... plenty of doubt. Would he be a distraction?... Without a shadow of a doubt.
Yeah, that's it exactly. If you're going to go the Tebow route you better be willing to go all in. What's happening in Denver is a mess and an example of what can go wrong when you take half measures.

Personally, I wouldn't mind handing the keys to Tebow. Why not? We're stuck in mud right now and the alternatives are inadequate.

Jesus ****, this **** again? Can we just ban Finatic next time he creates one of these threads?

Hmmm, a top 10 QB in the league who would give us a definite shot at the SB vs someone who can't even beat out Brady Quinn for Denver's backup job. Yes, without a doubt.

Minchia! Most on here complain about Miami not getting a QB and then they suggest this crap?!

As I said in the other thread, as a part time QB running the wildcat, goal line scoring formations...I'm good with it.

Don't give anything significant up for him though.

If he is released, I'm quite sure he would accept the role...with an eye towards long term development.

Yeah, he does everything right except throw accurate passes and read NFL defenses... I'm not looking for an over hyped, self righteous choir boy to play QB, I want someone who can get the job done. Guys who can't beat out Brady ****ing Quinn for a back up job do NOT fit that description.
And as far as Mike Vick goes, the dude more than paid his debt to society, why don't you get the hell over it already? Donte Stallworth was drunk nd killed a PERSON and did 30 days because he paid off the family of the victim. Unfortunately for Vick, dogs don't accept bribes.
Vick is about 100x better as an NFL qb than Tebow will ever hope to be, so to answer yr question YES I'll take that dog killer over Tebow 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

Nicest guy out there....and, unfortunately, forcing himself way too much to look like a genuine NFL Passer, which he clearly isn´t, and that will show on crunchtime.

I second (third? fourth?) all the "make it stop" replies.

Just this offseason, it's been Orton, Garrard, Flynn, Josh Johnson, Brett Favre (!)... that's just off the top of my head.

Let's stop craving other teams' trash. QB is *not* a position to be filled via trade or FA. We, of all teams and all fanbases, should know better than that.
