No fault when a hail mary almost works. Good try.

Not to pile on our QB but Wallace should have had three TD passes today. On the overthrow he was 10 yards behind everyone.
Even I could have made THAT throw :crazy:
 
For 60 million big dollars, yea I would say this a catch he has to make. No excuses , this the reason why he got paid this money. It wasn't under thrown, it wasn't overthrown, it was there for the taken. Not a perfect pass by any means, but tunny got rocked real bad. Great throw if u ask me,not perfect tho. Make a play Wallace !!!

Get real Dude. That was a desperation heave. Wallace spun around 3 times 60 yards downfield. If Tannehill would have not overthrown him and underthown him all day we would have scored more then 16 points. Maybe Tanny's wife can throw a deep pass.

Sick of Finheaven hating on Wallace, he is open 24/7. Tannehill cant thrown the Long Ball, missed it all day. If Tannehill does not underthrow it all day, we would have Won. Stop making excuses. He is average...

Why does it matter if it was a "desperation" heave? He was on the run and threw a dime 60+ yards in the air...hit him in the hands. Sorry..catch the ball. As for spinning three times...if he spun any more than once then its his own fault for not knowing how to track a deep ball.
As for the others...yeah he clearly underthrew him on that TD right? And the play he did "under throw" him on was again Tannehill on the run throwing the ball 60+ yards in the air. Seriously..he doesnt have an unlimited arm.

Go look at Rothelisburgers TD today...he under threw his receiver...50 yards in the air on the pass. These guys dont have unlimited arm strength.

Fact is that those arent on Tannehill or Wallace...they are doomed from the get go by the play design. We run a timing based offense but have yet to adapt the timing to different personal groupings. You cant have the same timing play down for Wallace and Hartline.

This. Ryan Tannehill is throwing the ball 60 yards in the air after a damn playfake and still throwing catchable balls to the fastest wide receiver in the NFL. At some point, you have to ask why he is being asked to throw these circus fantasy passes? The timing needs to be looked at.
 
So some of u guys are kinda saying it's ok Wallace dropped that ball cus Tanny couldn't hit him earlier in the game ???. Wat about the plays Tanny makes for this team. I'm not tryin to trash Wallace or saying Tanny is a great qb. All I'm saying is make a play wen it's there regardless of wats happened previously. On top of dat this guy is makin a lot of money to catch balls wen they are there to be caught. I like mike Wallace I think he is a very dangerous wr, but how can u defend a person makin that much wen he has had his share of mistakes IN THE PAST.
 
That needs to be caught. Doesn't matter if it was a hail Mary. Tanne has under thrown some, but that should have been caught.
To be a glass half full...tanne/Wallace had their best day today.

I had absolutely no hope that we would create some type of a miracle play like cinci had the other week against baltimore, if someone tipped a pass it goes for an INT

When I saw tannehill absoultely rip one and get drilled and wallace was in single coverage, i said wow how cool would that be, but was not shocked it didnt work out
 
I don't even know if any of this matters. Tannehill threw the ball a far as it could. I believe 60 yards. About two yards short of the endzone. Had he caught that, there would have been 11 seconds left in the game. you think we would have been able to run 60 yards line up and spike the ball for one more play to win the game? no. So yeah the play would have been great had Wallace caught that but it wouldn't have been a touchdown. Would have better luck it being a pass interference.
 
I don't know why people fight over these things any more. There's plenty of malfunctions of this team to go around. From top to bottom.
