I think it's a silver lining sort of article. What can happen, well only three things. 1) Dolphins get worse. 2) Dolphins stay the same. 3) Dolphins take "us against the world" POV and go on to win games and save the job of their popular but unproven head coach, to the dismay of the media. Only #3 is worth writing or reading about.
Frankly I think Joe's job is fine so long as the team continues to make progress. Ireland on the other hand is probably in trouble. Team trouble starts at the top with who you bring in and what you allow to go on. Frankly I'm surprised JI has had a job this long, it's a perfect excuse to move him out if Ross couldn't come up with one before. Promote Gaines or hire anew.
