This kid has got some pretty good hands. He played well today and I think hes going to play a big role in our offense for quite awhile.

I agree, for a guy people were ripping apart in training camp and preseason, he looked pretty good today. A nice addition.

he's a big guy with great hands

been awhile since we had TE that can block great and catch almost anything thrown at him..he'll will help chad look good..

He plays at 110% no matter what he is doing blocking or receiving he is a very positive addition.

PS i called him having a TD catch go me

Martin had some nice catches, too, and I never thought I'd ever have a reason to say that. Two TEs that can catch on the field at the same time offer some potentially interesting matchups.

This definitely was one of the bright spots for the team. Last year we hardly had any production from the tight ends. Anthony Fasano will be a very good addition for this team and it seems as if David Martin has cleaned up his ugly habit from last year of dropping catchable passes. Go Fasano!

Glad to see how well he did. I dont mind having a TE that can change the game. Lets just hope some others take a page from his book and step it up as well.

Ya he looked good today, Pennington looks to have a favorite target, he was the only person who was open pretty much

him and martin...and marting sucks, well ...at least last season he did...he made a few nice catches today!

Yea i was kind of expecting Fasano to make plays out there. I was much more surprised with David Martin's play especially the clutch catches in the 4th quarter.

I predict a new headline: David Martin shows up for the Phins!

I loved Fasano's production, but I counted no less than 5 critical passes CAUGHT by David Martin today. I don't remember a drop from him, unless you count one pass that was way overthrown. But that's not a drop. Count me pleasantly surprised.

It is truly amazing how much a TE, a position we pretty much ignored for the past how many years, can change the game and make a QB look very good! Also Fasano does always play hard and it seems to have rubbed off on Martin for a time. Hope it continues!

Agreed, Martin was clutch and we need clutch.

I think all we're missing on offense is a WR opposite Ted Ginn and TIME to develop our o-line and Henne. We are headed in the right direction though. We were one play away from beating a veteran team who all of the sudden is in win now mode.

If your team has a bad offense the QB's best friend is a good TE. Thank God because we need him with our useless wide recieving corps.
