I for one am very glad to have the current situation at QB. A lot of people are griping about it, or saying Joey should be the starter and this and that. Well I wholeheartedly trust Nick Saban and Mike Mularkey, and if they were to make Joey the starter, I would back them up on their decision. That being said, their is no way that is going to happen. Culpepper just looks to good, and the sky is the limit with him as our starter. If Joey were to play, I think it would be very similar to the style we would have played had Drew Brees had come here, with a lot of play action and the short passing game. It sometimes isn't necessarily exploiting someone's strengths, as much as it is hiding their weaknesses. And the best part of this potential QB controversy, is Joey isn't whining and complaining about being the backup. He understands his role. He is one of the first guys to come and talk to DC after he comes off the field. Both of these guys are here because they WANT to be here. Both turned down trades to other teams. Both have come in and done everything we could have asked from them. I just think we could be a Super Bowl team with DC, a good playoff team with Joey. And I know that sure as hell beats any of the teams we've had with Fiedler or Frerotte. As I said, no complaints here. (And I doubt you hear any from Chambers, or Booker, or McMichael etc.)
