In last weeks game, we passed 50 times, and ran 15. This week, it was 58 and 12.

Does anyone, in their right mind, think that with Bush, DT, and Miller this is what we will see when games really matter?

It is preseason guys, and should be taken as such.

They pass so much (vanilla offense still) to evaluate the QBs. Don't let that stop the downers from proclaiming the team from going 0-16 though.

Of course they do, as well as the WR's. What we saw tonight is not what we will see when games matter,

They had to throw, because the offensive line was not getting any push.

So what you are saying is Martin really isn't that bad, the coach just told him to look like Columbo so the Texans would overlook us?? The fact that our defense could stop a 3a HS football team shouldn't matter, because once we gameplan we will look like the No Name Defense from the 70s ?? Keep dreaming!! I told people a month ago this was not a top 20 defense and everyone said I was crazy. Nolan made this defense and to think a DB coach is going to come in and us not miss a beat is just silly.

I am afraid, sir, that you are correct. When games matter we won't come back to make it close at the end.

We better start running the football. Shorten the game and control the line of scrimmage. If not we are going to get our a$$ handed to us for 16 games.

Our runningbacks are the only strength of our team, Bush and potentially Miller are our only homerun hitters. We do not have the personnel in any facet of our offense to run the Packers system. It's pathetic to think that we would even entertain that idea.

Dood, as Philbin has conveyed in the media, the receivers really need to start catching and make some plays. I really think this pass heavy approach is partly b/c they want to see what the WRs can really do (answering the question: how deep sh*t we are really in?), and also give them more experience - being so green.

I'm hoping that they are just trying to get the passing game worked out...if not, game-planning us is going to be easy...
