They should just give every team a bye week somewhere in mid-season. That would be more fair. ALL ON THE SAME WEEK.

This isn't mathematically possible with 30 plus teams....but it would be better to have a bye in week 10 or 11 rather than in week 4......but hey it is good for momentum.

I'm just happy we play the Bills after the bye week. I'm sure Saban and Co. will have a little something for JP Loseman.

Actually, we talked about this last season. Someone, let us know that the reason we have such as early bye week is because of the Marlins. Then we went on to bash the whole Marlin stadium thing.

Wish we could find the thread, on second thought, maybe not.

It's not random. PhinKev had it right. It's about making it easier on scheduling to work around the Marlins.
