A quick look at 2007 Free Agency.

Adalius Thomas from the Ravens fits better for our D. I hope we take a long hard look at him if he becomes available.

Miami should get!!

Adalius Thomas ILB
Max Starks OG
Corey Redding DT
Vince Manuwai OG!!

And the Draft !! WR ted Ginn JR since we wont get CJ
Asante Samuel CB

Lance Briggs wants top money. We won't be able to afford him, and even if we could, he is not worth the money he wants.

Asante Samuel does sound pretty good though at a reasonable price. Is Nate Clements a free agent too?

Briggs wants to play in Miami. So I wouldnt be surprised if got less that he did in Chicago.

I'd like to see us pick up one of these good WLB, briggs, thomas, or june.

Asante Samuel, Nate Clements, Michael Lewis are the three Unrestricted FA that I would like to see us pursue for our secondary. Lance Briggs, IMO, will stay in Chicago unless a team offers him a ridiculous amount of money, which the Dolphins and Saban/Mueller won't do. Adalius Thomas is over 30, and I don't know if we would invest close to top dollar for a Thomas. I don't think Cato June is the ideal LB for our system.

I think we'll invest in one of the three DB's I mentioned, making one of them our biggest FA signing along with a couple quality offensive linemen, one being of starting calibur.

I would love to see us sign Clements or Lewis, and draft a OLB or a hybrid DE/OLB in the middle of the 1st.

One name that isn't on the list, who I'd like to see the Bills pursue, is Bears WR Justin Gage.

Is that the fast WR for the Bears?

I think you're thinking of Berrian.

Gage is a tall receiver (6'4"), with decent speed. Just what the Bills need, IMO, a little size to the WR corps.

Gage is the 4th or 5th right? Maybe 3rd. Not sure.

Pretty sure he's their 3rd.

I've liked him since he came out of college, at Missouri.

Very talented player, and it won't cost too much to bring him in.

My wish list for free agency.

CB Asante Samuel
OG Eric Steinbach
LB Adalius Thomas

Adalius Thomas is 29 years old. He's playing very well right now. I would love to get him. He's a proto-typical LB in Saban's scheme. Cato June is way to small. He wouldn't work with us at all.

Asante Samuel wouldn't be bad for the right price either. However, I don't see that happening. I think he has 6 INTs this season (3 after last night). He has a chance at the Pro Bowl too, which would up that price too. If Toniu Fonoti has the possibility of sticking and doing well, that's great. If not, I'd love to get Dielman or Steinbech at OLG. Michael Lewis fits the big athletic size Saban likes at S, but he's terrible in coverage and Saban likes that position to have some athletic ability. I personally think with Bell, Hill, and Allen our Safety position is pretty god (seeing that we resign Bell).

One thing I'm really interested to see it the market for a guy like Yeremiah Bell and Wes Welker. I know they are highly valued on our team and by our fans, but are they by other GMs around the NFL? I wonder if that becomes a problem in us locking with up with bigger contracts than needed or not offering them enough...considering they are RFAs.

do you think we could some how go after drew bennet from the titans if they dont re-sign him?
