I think the reason why we can't really key on one specific reason why we hate Mularkey so much is because he pretty much does EVERYTHING *** backwards. He makes all of our play calls totally obvious so the defense is always 2 steps ahead of us and the whole offensive game plan licks total nuts anyway. Granted the guy hasn't had much help with all of our crappy offensive miscues but he needs to take a lot of, if not most of the blame for our anemic offensive play. What makes me even more mad is that there were a couple of great offensive minds available as free agent coaches like Al Saunders and Gary Kubiak. As much as I hate to say it and totally eat crow I think our offense needs a lot of help beyond just coordinator and we might be screwed on that side of the ball for a while. We need a true #1 reciever, a consistent tight end, almost a whole new offensive line, and if Culpepper can't ever get healthy then we need a damn QB too. It's a sad situation right now and we need to start helping it by getting a high draft pick and using it on a guy like Calvin Johnson or Troy Smith etc.

If you look at what we did last season it seemed like all we needed was a quarterback. Now we have Mike Mularkey as an offensive coordinator and our offense looks like complete dooky butter. Get rid of Mularkey, Chambers, and McMichael and we are good to go; especially if Calvin Johnson is available.

I agree with you, I will get rid of Mularkey and McMichael and all those troublemakers...

i agree with alot of it but the line needs 1 dominant figure....A road grader. The line hasn't been horrible in pass protection, as far as run blocks, they lack that anchor. Missing just one big guy who will solidify and be the main focus of the line is what is giving us a what 2.5ypr attack (not really sure if its that low or not but i know its low). They dont need a complete makeover.
