How about some credit going to Wayne Huizenga for putting this together?

For the last few seasons, we've had these idiots with the anti-Wayne websites and child-like mentality trying to run Wayne Huizenga out of town. Meanwhile, Wayne Huizenga has been trying his hardest to get this thing turned around. He has always gone out and gotten the best available coaches / personnel available. Jimmy Johnson, Dave Wannstedt, Nick Saban, Cam Cameron, Bill Parcells/Tony Sporano. Granted, not all have worked out. Some might argue the Jimmy Johnson hiring but he was easily the best coach available when he was brought in. Wannstedt was a product and recommendation by Jimmy Johnson. Say what you will about Nick Satan but he was a huge name and, at the time, considered to be a great hire by everyone. We all know how that ended. F’n Fraud. As for Cam Cameron, well he was a fluke and a bad hire in a season where there was no sure fire, big name coach available. But he was quickly replaced by Parcells and his crew.

The point is, Wayne Huizenga is not an X’s and O’s guy but he does love the Dolphins and he has poured everything into them. He has gone above and beyond what most owners have to get things done. It hasn’t all worked out in retrospect, but hindsight is 20-20.

Now, we’re back in the playoffs baby and it’s because of Parcells and co. So let's not forget that Parcells has said, that had Wayne Huizenga not been the owner of the Dolphins, he would not be here. So I’d like to make a toast; Here’s to you Wayne, cheers mate!

Signed,
Reason

p.s.

and don’t try and argue ticket prices, they are consistent with the other teams in the league that have nice stadiums like ours.

Good point. It's been easy to hate this guy but the first real factor to the turnaround was him realizing we needed people who know football like Bill Parcells.

agreed 100%. this guy does everything he can to make the dolphins a winner, but it just hadnt panned out till now. i am so happy this guy is our owner rather then a clown like jerry jones , who just brings in all these prima donnas for attention, and gives away the draft for a player who was gonna be available during the offseason anyways, and never lets the coaches breathe on the sidelines or in the lockeroom as he is on top of them everysecond. at least wayne lets his personal do there jobs and gives them the money to do so. thanks wayne and the whole entire staff and personal for this great season and hopefully we can still play 4 more games this season.

I was always told wayne was an a hole. and maybe he is, but the day I met him he was super cool. I LOVE YOU WAYNE!!!!!!!

Wayne is a great guy but i just hope he doesnt sell the majority of the team.

"Earlier this year, Huizenga agreed to sell 95 percent of the Dolphins to New York developer and team part-owner Stephen Ross. Huizenga hopes to close on the deal by early January.... Parcells' contract specifically states only Huizenga can be in authority over him. Once Ross officially becomes majority owner, Parcells has to notify Ross within 30 days that he intends to exercise his walk-away clause and collect the full balance of $9 million. " - espn

Hopefully Parcells wants to stick around.
