If we beat the Patriots this weekend, we are all but guaranteed to be at 8-4!!! The Rams could quite possibly be the worst team I have ever seen play (yes, worse than the Lions in my opinion)... They get blown out week in and week out... So imagine 8-4, knowing that we would need 2 wins in our final 4 games to make the playoffs! INSANE!

Even if we were to somehow lose in a dome to a Bills team that is now thinking of putting Losman back in at QB (yikes, feels good to have some QB consistency.. Thanks Chad).. We would still play the 49ers at home (everybody should know that horrendous record of West coast teams traveling east for a 1 pm game).. I will admit though, the final 2 games might be really tough @ KC and @ Ny Jet... BUT interesting enough, Mangini and the Jets could possibly have a #2 or #3 seed all but locked up so they may rest their starters, especially ancient Favre who should start feeling his age come into affect....Of course I would still want us fighting for the division, but this is my worst case scenario...

So a win on Sunday and we are in the drivers seat! and Any losses to the Colts and/or Ravens are an added bonus

I think we can and will beat the Rams, but don't underestimate any team and don't put them so much on the map. Every game (including the Seahawks and Raiders, who we should of pounded) I get worried before them, I can't breath during the games.

Any given Sunday my friend, anything can happen.

I am a bit confused, you say that miami could be 8-4 and then later you said the jets could have a seed locked up, I find this odd with the jets moving to 7-5 in two weeks.

Maybe i am missing something

You know what they say about what goes up must go down? The same equality comes with a dissapointed fan who comes in to the forum to report how much the team sucked. Relax buddy, just let our team play our games one step at a time, one play at a time, and a win or loss at a time.

By the way, Steven Jackson might be healthy enough to run against us and pace might be healthy enough to play us.

That one game at a time crap is for the players.. Im a fan and its exciting for once to look into the future and say, wow we have a possibility to get in the playoffs! and Steven Jackson might be healthy, but hes running behind a horrible Oline... half the starting line is injured, and they werent even good to begin with.. Their D is soft and Bulger is no Warner

Guaranteed to be 8-4 if we beat the Patriots? I guess I was watching some other team squeak by the Seahawks and Raiders, and fall to the Texans.

squeak by? Obviously u havent watched how we basically dominated the entire game vs the 'Hawks and Raiders... I guess the number 3 ranked team in the NFL according to most people, the Carolina Panthers are not good cuz they squeaked by the Raiders and Lions..In the NFL, a win is hard enough to come by

and yet you have us as a guaranteed lock to beat the rams...

You realize the contradictions here right?
