Also never has a 7th seed won the SB (only one sixth seed has).

The path to the SB is brutal for a 7 seed. Previously, the 6th seed would play the 3rd seed in the wild card and 1st seed in the divisional round. Now the 7th seed has to play the 2 seed and then the 1 seed. I imagine it will take a long time before a 7 seed even makes the SB in the current system.

I used to keep Basenji's as pets. My Avitar is a group of Basenjis looking out and thinking - does that poster even know what they are talking about.
They look like a Spitz, because the origins of the Basenji, prior to their ending up in Africa over 6000 years ago, appear to be from central Asia. Their closest relative is the Chinese Saluki, and they are closely related to the East Siberian Laika, the breed most of the spitz family are derived from.
These are the oldest of the domesticated dog breeds, based on their DNA.
