A second look at our season final standings, 12-4?

that was my concern at the beginning of the season, but we are 3-0, with already having played 2 of our toughest games on our schedule. the upcoming game vs the saints is our toughest remaining game imo, and if we win that, we are in phenomenal shape.

if we were to lose to the saints, we would still be in fantastic shape if we beat the ravens and were 4-1 heading into our bye week. should be interesting.

I'm in the 12-4 or 11-5 range too, but I'm also trying to temper expectations because things don't always go how you imagined. Hell, we could lose games against saints, ravens, bengals, chargers, @pats, @jets, and @bills. That puts us at 9-7. You hope that you at least win a couple of those tougher matchups, but you never know. And the bills and jets may be better by the time we play them. And it will be in the cold.... So u never know. I'm happy with 10-6 and a wild card. A big fear I'm starting to get is the fins going 10-6 and missing the playoffs. It doesn't happen all the time, but with an 11-3 record against the NFC thru three weeks and 10 teams with a winning record in the AFC right now... I'm almost positive there will be a 10-6 AFC team missing the playoffs again this year.

Well, we CAN win every game. Liklihood says no, but hey, someone has to beat the '72 Fins.

As happens every year, with EVERY team....we'll beat a really good team we're "not supposed to beat" (hopefully the Saints) and lose to a team "we're supposed to beat" (hopefully not the JETS!) haha.

we need to beat the bengals and the ravens. 1. both of them are at home, and we must defend our home field. 2. either one of those teams will win the division, a loss can hurt us in tiebreaker scenarios for seeding, and can be the difference between a 1st round bye and having to play in the 1st round.

Yep. The 8 most critical games on our schedule are the 6 divisional games along with the Bengals and Ravens.

Basically the Pats games and the Bengals and Ravens..... if we win those 4 games we are looking at a 1st round bye IMHO.

Beating the Colts on the road was huge and the first leg of all of that.

Also, looking at the Broncos schedule, I wouldnt count us out of the #1 seed just yet. A 12-4 or 13-3 campaign could do the trick, especially if we win our AFC games.

We will win both Buffalo games. There is nothing there to worry about. trust me.

You will see Sunday night the real Patriots vs. Atlanta. Patriots had it so easy. Not so much now. btw, keep an eye on Amendola. They say he is getting better. I may disagree. I read on KFFL last week on a given evening about connecters from his hip to his leg were damaged. The injury they say he is having a hard time coming back from is a groin. Well, I think there is more here than meets the eye. Anyhoo, I am not worried about them anyways. There is no way this team will get beat down by a Brady team filled with newbies, and the injury prones will become injury prone again at some point. That team is not the same. For crying out loud they got Tampa at home vs. the bust. waste of a home game.

Carolina D had me worried. Not so much anymore. Must have been preseason. Cam Newton is/was so overrated. Not much between the ears. Home game for us.

Jets. Ah the jets. Who supposedly have a great defense again. OK lets see them vs. the teams we played. Then we can talk. Until then, that rookie QB is just enjoying his slight overachieving rookie year so far. well, things change. Philbin will outcoach this guy in both games with adjustments and Dion Jordan will be prime time by then. We get them home for the last game. OUCH. that is never good for the jets.

Pittsburgh will present a bigger challenge for us since they will be home for Monday night.

Cincy has looked super, then not so super even though they won still. Aarron rogers lost that game by throwing to his recievers while covered. He just aired it out and didnt play the kind of football we will play against them at home for an early week. We kinda own Cincy lately whether good or bad team. We have beaten them on the road. This one home on short week. I like our chances big in this one particularly if we beat NE up in Foxboro. Think that is unlikely? I dont. NE has to play Atlanta away and NO.

Baltimore is another one. Will watch the bills game this weekend with this one in Buffalo. Two teams we play soon. Find the weakness. Because Baltimore has em. Just have to wait for it to come. Ray rice looking banged up. He is half their offense IMO.

12-4 is doable but I would like to see how we hang with NO before ever going there.

I still don't see any reason we can't go 12-4. Anyone that points to mathematical impossibility isn't a real Dolphins fan.

Classic....

I went to the freezer section at Publix the other day and I tried a flavor of Ben & Jerry's ice cream I had never had before: Cake Batter.

It was pretty good. It's not quite as good as Phish Food, but it's pretty good.
