I am sick of all the negative posts, so here is a positive one!

How bout Vontae???

Kid was ALL over the field, making tackles, breaking up passes etc.

Very solid game. I am not so worried about Will Allen going down now.

Good game Vontae! :hi5:

He missed that tackle on Shockey, but outside of that, he did play a very good game.

I have to agree. He played well except for he should have gone for Shockeys legs. That is something he will learn. Well, Vontae and Smith will be our starting corners now. We are going to get to see alot of them. Hope they do well.

Vontae wins Hustler of the Week award. He left more on the field than any other player.

Player of the week!! That was a tough tackle on Shockey given his angle and speed and Shockey's size advantage, but yea if he could take 1 play out of a pretty much faultess sunday back and replay it, he would have taken that tatted up punks knees out

Atleast he tried. Wilson just played patty-cake for 40 yards.

how embarrassing was that? I thought this guy was suppose to hit like a train.... that's why we brought him in.

Instead... it looks like he's the one that constantly gets run over all the time. what a disgrace.

time to play culver and clemons more, at least they are guys who can cover

clemmons got activated to the game day roster.

should see more of him this week, HOPEFULLY!!

really, can ANYTHING be worse than gibril wilson?
oohhhh, he broke up two passes, ooohhhhh.....
he gets burned for more plays than he makes.

smith, davis, clemmons. the future is NOW!!!

all we need is to get turner on the field and see if he
is one of those guys thats a game guy and not a practice
guy like phil merling.

get ted on kick returns. start brian hartline in his place.
activate patrick turner. let ginn play the slot when needed.

as far as VONTAE DAVIS goes........

nice to see him all over the place. the guy hits like a truck
and is known for the big play. he WAS all over the field like the
above poster mentioned.

but that was sunday. before that game, he was in on spot duty
and its hard to get a book on a guy with limited play [unless he
has a BIG glaring weekness].

i want to see him still making plays like this after a couple more
games, after teams study him and game plan for him.

it SUX what happened to WILL ALLEN. i hate seeing players go out
like that. i wanted him off the team befaore last year started! one
of the most over rated dolphins of all time [rob konrad being the
most].

i would have rather they benched or cut or traded him rather than
he blow his knee out.

but, HE IS OUT, and this isnt a bad thing for the team. now vontae can
grow and we will know what we have by seasons end. a promosing young
cb, or an expensive stop gap while the search continues.

ARIZONA FIN FANZ UNITE!! :tumbleweed:

Vontae was terrific. Can't say enough good about his play yesterday. He was making plays in coverage and on special teams too. Fanastic game. Looks like we have a couple of winners back there at Corner.

Sparano said that Clemmons played 20+ plays yesterday, uh does anyone remember seeing him? As much as it pains me I'll have to watch the game again to see if I can pick him out.

why isnt anyone talking about Nate Jones....dude was BALLIN yesterday.LOL,Colston thought he had a TD.....then reality,or should I say Nate Jones,struck...

We'll get to see a WHOLE LOT MORE of Vontae the next 10 games. The silver lining to Allen getting hurt is we will have 2 young CB's next year with a year of full-time experience under their belt. It'll hurt at times, but if he's going to be the real deal, this type of playing time is necessary for him to develop.

gibril did tip a pass that torbor intercepted...but other than that he has done nothing for us
