Apparently at practice this week Chris Clemons has been getting a lot of reps in the nickel at practice and has been activated on special teams last week. I wonder if they're gonna start slowly inserting him slowly into Wilsons position. The article also goes on to say how Heartline is seeing a lot more reps and Ted Ginn jr. is on the side line, which is pretty well known fact on this site. Here is the link:

Let him come in... get burned... and learn from the experience... we already have two rooks at CB..., what's it gonna hurt...
 
I would love to see hartline explode. He looks like he can be a better camarillo. ALos i had heard good things about clemens so lets hope he can be as steal of the draft.

If the man can just tackle it will be an upgrade. Anything beyond that is icing on the cake.

I nothing else....Clemmons suddenly being active, adding a safety to the PS....it all reaks of desperation to find a cure for Wilson.
 
I would like to see Yeremiah blitzing a lot more like he did against NO. Our nickle package could be Clemons at FS Wilson at SS and Bell at nickle corner. We could then line him up on the slot and use either zone coverage or have him blitz off the edge.
 
As much I want to see Clemons come in and play well, I think we're all forgetting Tyrone Culver in this equation. He's done very well in limited action this year.

Thats true I completely forgot about him. Just plug him into my previous equation instead of clemons or maybe him and Clemons.

You know when they brought Wilson in I said "They say the man lacks cover skills but is good at run support, that in and of itself should be an upgrade and with Bell and Wilson there at least will be no running".

WTF is the run support?
WTF is anything from him?

I think people on this board would be an upgrade over Wilson in the secondary.
 
i think culver or clemons should play over wilson...that play against shockey swatting his hands for 30 yards was absolutely embarrassing.

With run support, he certainly needs no support in being run over.
