Hey, i've been a life long fan of the dolphins from philadelphia
I've always watched the dolphins games thru nfl.com if not on cable(via dots on a football field, doing play by play updates, which is horrendous) And i've finally found finheaven, thank god. Ive been looking at this thing for months, and have been nervous to post, but i love this site!
Well i'm thinking about buying some medium priced tickets to a miami game, and hopefully am going for the opener against buffalo the 1pm game. Any ideas of good spots, or good section of seating watching the game, and opinions on best view including sun.

I havent sat everywhere but ive never really had a bad seat in the place, Ive heard from fans of other teams thats been there that say its a real comfortable stadium than what their used to.

Congrats on your first post, and I hope you stick around.

I have never been to Dolphin stadium but hope to soon since I live in Altamonte Spring, Florida. But one thing I would suggest to you is to wear a hat, if you go in the summer if your not used to the heat. LoLit even kills us Floridians. Good luck to you and Go Dolphins!

personally I prefer the west end under the tron, behind the goal posts for September games. It puts the sun to your south and west and you don't have to squint through the brightness to watch. Less of a "face" sunburn that way too.

Stay away from the visitor side ( low numbered sections) stay on the home side no matter the cost, you'll get shade and the difference is amazing and worth just about any price. The home opener is always a sauna so just be prepared. Invest in some under armor or moisture wicking fabric. You'll thank me after the game.

Weather aside, there are no bad seats anywhere in the stadium. I prefer South and East as you get to stare at the bigger scoreboard, but you can see that from where I sit (Look under my name).

Heres a pic of my opinion of the shade at the stadium (numbers are quarters with shade at typical 1pm game):

Yeah so comfortable that fans don't want to get their butts out of their seat and cheer loudly and make Dolphin Stadium a place that opponents don't want to play at!!!!!

Sorry to hear about being in Philly, I live in the area too. If you want I know of some good sports bars to watch the games at, if your interested....

BTW Its surreal once you actually get to the stadium. You;ll have a great time. I plan on going down for the Vikes game. Bu if your going for the Bills game stay away from the visitors section. The bills fans don't have many teeth and they just look gross....

yes, being from philadelphia is horrible. My girlfriend called direct tv with the sunday ticket and got it installed at my house for my birthday, i can finally watch my fins, and the linc is a pretty comfortable stadium, i just can't stand the eagle fans and the eagles in general. Thanks for everyone's help!

The East end zone that says UNKNOWN gets sun all day just like the visitors side... The home side gets more shady as the day goes on... Thank goodness I moved to the home side this year. Some days are BRUTAL!

I made the pic from memory using overlays and transparency in photoshop. I will try to adjust it to everyones reccomendations

holy moly, my apologies sir.

Man, awesome idea A Wing, I mean it. I am surprised no-one has done this before, I've never seen it if they did. Props.

Being That Im Always Trashed By The Time I Get To The Stadium I'm Not Sure Where North East South West Is But, Under The Big Jumbo Tron Which Is Out Of Control By The Way. In The Economy Sec. That Gets Sun All Day And Your Next To The Non Alcoholic Section. Hahaaa!! Dont Go There . I Was There A Few Seasons And I Am More Than Happy Spending The Xtra $$$ To Get Better Seats. It Kinda Evens Out Cause Now I Hold In More Beer Than Just Sweating It Out. You Cant Go Wrong.
