Looking at Ronnie, Ricky, Gordon, Morris, Minor, and Harris. I think you are looking at likely 4 of them making the team and maybe one delegated to the practice squad. With Ronnie's potential, Ricky's ability, and Sammy's production last year I think they are all locks, so the question is with the other three.

I am not a big Lamar Gordon fan, but that being said I think he will make this team because of circumstance. I think it will be a mistake as he seems to be fragile, fumble prone, and really not as fast as he was hyped up to be when management brought him in. Minor should be shown the door. He is a nice guy and an average player who at this point would be better suited getting a fresh start somewhere else. I like sammy morris much better as a 3rd down back, especially in short run situations. Morris can break tackles where Minor seems to go down easier. That leaves Kay-Jay Harris left an unproven rookie who is much older than the average NFL rookie. But he is a what if kind of guy. If they leave him on the team for a year and give him a chance to be groomed in this system could he be a star? Maybe not, but the chance is their. We have seen Minor and Gordon. WHy not give Kay-Jay a chance we have 3 guys ahead of him who I feel can get the job done.

Well put, and I concur

Minor resigned as a free agent this year. The door was open..he decided to stay.

Kay-Jay is an undrafted rookie who will not make the 53 man roster. Theres no way he is better prepared than Minor, Gordon, or Morris.

I would keep Ronnie, Ricky, Morris, and then Kay-Jay. Minor signed a one year, no big deal to let him go, and Gordon, hasn't shown much so far this year.

there will probably 5 rb's to make the squad. kay jay is gonna get cut. gordon and morris will likely make the team. minor had better step it up next 2 games or he's gone .

Don't be suprised to see Gordon traded before the trading deadline this year. This is his last contract year, and there is no way Saban will re-sign him in the offseason. I bet as we speak, Saban and Mueller plan on shopping Gordon big time in the upcoming weeks.

Minor plays special teams.. so we are going to just let him go...

Kay Jay doesnt bring much else...

A team like Jacksonville might be willing to give up a 5th or 6th rounder for him.

That would really help with the log jam at RB. I just don't see him having much value. The guy hasn't proven he can stay on the field for a full season. So far he hasn't shown anything this year. Maybe someone would give up a #5 to replace the one we used on Wright?

I'd keep Minor over Gordon. Minor is a good 3rd down back, and he can co-return kickoffs. Unless Gordon really shows something the next 2 preseason games, IMO he's worthless on this team.
