Why does this team SUCK so much on the road?

We are now 1 - 6 away & 6 - 1 at home... WTF???

Seriously why is there such a discrepancy?

I played college football and some of the away stadium crowds would be crazy loud, nuts... but I as a player would block that **** out and just play!

I'm just friggin baffled why we suck so bad on the road.

Any insights?

I don’t think that they prepare enough. They have Monday and Tuesday off...**** that! Watch some film and have a plan.

If this is a coaching issue (mostly on defense), they can have 2 weeks to get ready and prepare.. I don't think it would change much. I'm not blaming Tannehill only for this mess. A lot of things went wrong today and this is a reflection of a poorly coached team.

Is this true???? They always have Monday and Tuesday off? That can't be true.

I think they normally go back to work on Tuesday no? Anyway, they are poorly coached as noted by the weekly slow starts.

Both O & D sucked today as usual, seems to be a pattern.

Is it a reflection of coaching?

Other teams struggle too... Dallas was shut out by the friggin Colts today!

Just don't understand why "home field advantage" is such an advantage?

They're not that much better at home. They've just gotten lucky at home more often. They should have lost to the bills and the pats but both those teams beat themselves.

But... games are close at home away they get blown away!

I keep thinking it has to change but it becomes more exaggerated.

Good news is that the remaining two games are against teams that can't score. Miami has feasted on those opponents all season. I think Jacksonville had 57 yards passing today. Something like that. Buffalo won with 14 points. The only road game we've won is at the Jets against a low scoring offense and rookie quarterback.

The defense was miserably soft today. That can't happen. It wasn't the greatest situational spot but not as bad as the Dolphins made it look. Years ago when there were 5 teams in each division you would often see flat road efforts like this after a team had played 3 or 4 emotionally draining division games in a row, then went out on the road against a non-division team. I remember teams that had to face 5 division games in a row. It was not unheard of. That's when situational wagering was much easier in the NFL.

These days with only 4 teams in each division there is no such thing as a month long division stretch. But somehow these Dolphins made 2 games play out like 4 or 5 in the old days.

No excuse for that. Reshad Jones in particular is a shell of his former self. Previously when it was 3rd and 1 for the opponent I'd be looking for Jones to crash the running play short of the marker. Now that isn't even a consideration. Jones waits around for 2-3 plays each game in which he can thump someone after a decent gain. Then he stands over the opponent as if he accomplished something. Meanwhile the referee is signaling first down.

The better question might be, how do we pull out wins at home?

Remember, we beat the Pats with the last second miracle, beat the Bears in OT, beat the Raiders with a 4th quarter shovel pass TD, beat the Titans in the longest game ever played, edged out the Jets with a defensive score, and held off the Bills to win by 4.

Our home record could be ALOT worse.
