Although he cautions they "shouldn't be favored" in the Peyton Manning derby, SI's Peter King believes the Seahawks are ready to go "all in" on a Manning/Reggie Wayne "package deal."

Via the word of a "team official" from a Manning contender, King also hints the Dolphins could be ready to make Manning a massive offer. "If (Dolphins owner Stephen Ross) wants to offer him a (load) guaranteed, we're out," the official said. According to the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta, the Jets "share (that) sentiment." Of all the early rumored Manning contenders, the Jets appear to be the least committed to making a move.

i just dont seeing seattle a place manning would want to finish .

Peyton is very calculated and he has a plan in place. If that plan is not about money, which I don't think it is, I see him going to where he wants not who has the most money.

No..no...no. "The Jets are set at qb for the next decade".............

Honestly, there is no way that any team that doesn't already have a proven All Pro qb isn't going to be interested in seeing what Manning has left. The real question is who will truly show their commitment to him and is it enough to trump what he can have here with the Dolphins?

The Jets are a laughing stock and have proven as the season ended that their locker room issues are bigger then what was known. Why would Manning want to go their to that circus?

if its about money it will be washington who has $40 mil cap space and can also take on his main man reggie wayne...i just can't see arizona being seriously in play...they may want to be but i can't see peyton choosing them

if manning wants to go to the contender most ready to win a championship right now only a legit qb away and thats all that matters its either the jets or san fran...

but i think money will matter...it hardly ever doesn't with any of these guys...

Of the teams not being mentioned as a destination, Houston stands out in my mind. I don't see him leaving the AFC and I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans are where he wants to go.

I've heard some saying Houston is a possibility but I don't see the connection.

I don't think Houston will give up on Matt Schaub.

Without a new coach and with no definite QB to get excited about at the close of the 2010 season, essentially SF was what the Fins are now, as a matter of fact with an identical record in the least competitive division and even then winning 5 out of the last 9 compared to our 6. Harbaugh and a rejuvenated Smith mentored by Harbaugh was the difference between that and being a few minutes away from the SB. Hopefully Peyton will realize that the pieces are in place to deliver the same kind of results in Miami. Who wouldn't want to throw to The Beast? Jets? I don't want to draw any trolling so I'll just state beyond the obvious that Peyton is a classy guy who I'd think would have a problem being called on to cash the checks that a boastful windbag of a buffoonish coach's mouth writes. :idk:

P. Manning makes more money from endorsements than most guys make in salary. I doubt money is his main thing at this stage in his life. I think he just wants to win. Seattle is in an easy division but they are not going to win an SB anytime soon and the same for KC and the Skins. We haven't had much success as of late either, but we won 6 of our last 9 games and I think we are heading in the right direction. We'll see what happens, but I like our chances.
