A Telling Quote: Wannes still as stubborn as ever!

Our winning percentage is much higher when we run the ball 25 times I believe we win 90% of our games. So he's right in this case. The reason that stat stands out is because you usually pass when you're trailing and have to come back. I believe he's going to get Forrester to call no less than 25 running plays a game.

Wanny is right in this case.....You need to have a semblance of a running game.....

Look at the best passing games last year and then look at those team's rushing attacks......

They have one thing in common.....they all had really good running games.....
New England Patriots. They are an awesome passing team that didn't have a good running game until Dillon. That's because they pass to open up the run.

O-line love's to run-block on draw plays. They use the pass rushers momentum against them and then steer them aside.

The draw play for a passing team is the equivelant of the PA pass for the running teams.

These are the plays that require a good passing or running team to execute but get the most yards avg.

You do what you have the ability to do. That % is largely based on having RW at RB. We don't have him now and you cant expect the guys we do have to put up the same #s. Of course you have to run the ball some to keep defenses somewhat honest, but you cant be a primarily running team if you dont have a running back that can carry the load. Well, I guess you can...just dont expect to win many games.
