I thought some would be interested in this. They were breaking down the best players this year at each position. Congrats to JT on another great year.

"Defensive Line
Jason Taylor, Dolphins: Not only did Taylor post outstanding numbers across the boardâ€â€a dozen sacks, 52 solo tackles, 23 assists, three forced fumbles, two recoveries, a touchdown, a safety, and 10 passes defendedâ€â€he did so playing the final two months on a torn plantar fascia in his right foot. There's a reason he was the most-owned, most-started defensive lineman in leagues using our commissioner software: because he's the best."

he has had one of the best seasons of his career. thats pretty bold to call him the best in the league, but i like it!

no problem, it's nice to see our players get some good respect. They just said he is the best defensive end in football that's a big statement coming from national media. I just want him to have a few more years like this so he can have a shot at the hall. :)

JT is the man. Hes the 1 phin I never want to see leave. Pass rushing De is such a hard spot to fill and he plays the run as well as any pass rusher currently does

Yeah, not to mention he is showing to be pretty good covering the pass in Lord Saban's defensive scheme.

I do agree with that. He had game changing plays all year and scored twice.
I have no doubt in my mind that he would have had 15 sacks had he not had the injury in his foot.

I think JT is a great player, he'd be great on any team he played for, and is definately among the top 3 at his position. Right now I believe he is the "face of the francise," and has been the best player on the team. Unfortunately for him playing defensive end, the impact on the overall outlook of a season sometimes can be minimal no matter how great he plays like last year. Regardless I think the best 4 defensive ends in the game can be debated in Strahan, Peppers, Freeney, and JT. I think Peppers is the best, but ya really can't go wrong with any of the 4.

Sometimes I think sacks can be overrated, Vanden Bosch had like 12.5 sacks for the Titans, but would anyone consider him elite?

JT deserves props. He has to be touted as the best since he is top of the league in a new scheme and has always been consistant. Last season Freeney and Charles grant were two of the best along with JT buttheir stats dwindled.

I know JT had a good year, but those numbers are impressive. Good Job JT.....
